Flower Buds

Well a few of my lilies finally have their buds starting to pop out. This shot is of, (I think) my bright yellow Lily. Not too sure. Anyhow they should be opened in like 3 weeks or so I hope. I can't wait for all the color and beauty of my Lilies to show this summer. My phloxx is geting tall as well and that floers late summer though and lasts till mid fall.

My tiger lilies are blooming like crazy right now. I am waiting until the last bud blooms so I can get a picture of them to either PM to you or put in one of your discussions. They are so bright and vibrant. I wish they bloomed more than once a year but, they are beautiful while they are around!
I can't wait to see the picture of your bloomed lilies!

It's always exciting to see flower buds (and later on, bloom)...or any new growth on a plant for that matter...I especially love the feeling I get when I see a seed is starting to sprout. It never ceases to thrill me. You must have a lovely garden. I haven't tried my hand at flowering bulbs just yet...only garlic! LOL...even with that I'm not too successful. Oh, well, maybe I'll give it a try sometime.

Does garlic get flowers? What do they look like
and do the flowers smell also like garlic itself?

Wow, you're ahead of me there, then.
I've still got that one huge lily (and I still don't know what kind it is), that is getting taller every day, but nothing that looks like a flower yet.
I'm beginning to think I'll have a 'little shop of horrors' right outside my window here.

"FEED ME SEYMORE" Gawd I loved that movie. The original not the remake with Rick Moaranis and Steve Martin. Another good hooro/comedy is "Motel Hell." Check that one out it's funny as well.

Beautiful just beautiful!..I wish i could show off my garden but have no camera to do it..maybe i will get someone to help and see and compare our gardens..LOL..are the lilies very fragrant?Love the scent!

I don't think Lilies are really fragrant. They have
a slight scent is all. But beautiful. Especially cut
in a vase on the dining room table.
