How often do you get your hair cut?

I like my hair longer so I can put it in a ponytail if I don't want to mess with it, especially since it takes at least 10-15 minutes to dry it. When I got it cut in September, I told her I wanted to leave it long enough for a ponytail, and she didn't listen, and cut it crooked besides! I had told her I parted it on the side but she just did what she wanted. I have always hated getting my hair cut, and now even more so. But I do need to get it cut again soon. Make sure you know exactly what you want, and make sure you communicate that. Have her repeat it back to you if it makes you feel better. The best haircut I ever had was when I found a website where you could upload a picture of yourself and "try on" different hairstyles. The website then gave instructions for how it should be cut. The hairdresser did not follow it exactly, but it came out better than the picture! I just can't afford to go back to that place right now.

I cut my own hair. I cut it whenever it starts to bothering me. I feel like I need to cut it now. It's starting to fell into my eyes and the sides are getting crazy lol.. but i've just been so busy and i hate cutting it but i would rather do it myself then go and pay for it. lol i cut it about once a month probably

Well I agree its expensive to get your hair cut every six weeks. I only get mine done every couple of months. My hair use to be real long too. Now its shoulder length. Much easier to take of.LOL

When I was a kid I had long hair and thought that I would never get my hair cut. But later I changed my mind and decided to try something new. Now I have short hair and I get my hair cut every 3 or 4 months - when I get free time.

About 2 years ago I chopped all my hair off so it was about an inch long. I really shouldn't have done it, and hated it ever since. I've had it cut once since then, because it's already so short, I don't want it any shorter. It is finally about shoulder length, and soon I will cut it again so the ends are all the same length. I want it to grow back to half way down my back where it was before, then I will leave it there and put it up in pony tails or buns to cool my neck instead of cutting it.

I don't often go to the parlor for a haircut. I usually go when I'm fed up with my current hair do or my hair has gone really long just to avoid split ends. Cutting my hair really depends on my mood. I don't cut my hair on my own if I don't want to end up in a disastrous hairdo.

i usually get it done about every couple of months because i cant really afford to get it done more often plus i dont mind when it grows a little bit but hate when it gets too long. i go to a fairly cheap place to get it cut (it only is about $15 or so).

It has got so expensive lately I have put off 'getting my hair cut but now its looking really shaggy. I do not like it too long but again I do'not look good in really short hair either. When my hubby was alive I wore it long for his sake as he liked me in long hair. Right now I am home sick with shingles so its just going to have to grow for awhile .lol.

Haircut is not really expensive here in my country. You could have a haircut for only $2 USD. And I have my hair cut at least once a month because I don't want to have my hair long for less maintenance and no need to comb that often.

I get my hair cut after 6 months as i think its better for me as then i can do any style i want.

You cut your hair an year ago!!That is so very long...but ofcourse it might suit you to grow long hair.For me even 6 weeks is too long a time.I have a very curly hair and so within a month or so of my haircut my hair starts curling out to ask for another one.So for me it is approximately once every month or so.And now being summer I have cropped my hair extremely short.I feel very light and the sweating on the scalp doesn't irritate me so much as it did previously.

Very rare. I guess once a year or never. hehehe.. But I fic my hair at least once or twice in year. And one thing, I do sometimes cut my hair on my own. hehehe.. I know it's strange but I do. And if I can't make it right, that's the time I pay for someone to make it good for me.

I cut my hair on my own, with scissors to cut it and a razorblade to sharpen the points. And it doesn't look bad (i think). Of course i've got boys-hair, so its not so difficult as it would be with girls-hair.

I haven't cut my hair in over 5 years and trimmed it in two. It is due for one but it's not all over the place. I tend to keep it in a poney tail durring the day lately it's hot out.

I cut my hair 3-4 times a year. I like having long hair but my wife don't like it so I have been instructed to cut my hair otherwise she always complaining. She told me that I look like a criminal man if I have long hair.

6 weeks?? not as recomemded but i cut my hair in ever 9-10 weeks...

Hi,I cut every two months in summer.But in other seasons,it will be a little longer.Is it good or bad for health?

Yes, I trimmed it at least once a month or every two months. Yeah, I also like my hair long but if I didn't trimmed it my hair would have a split end and more hair falls. I think it really helps my hair to be more healthy. Before, I like to cut it very short because it was too hot and having a long hair didn't help it. But my mother wouldn't allow me and said that I should be content and thankful to have good long hair. I just want to cut it more stylish other than just a dull long hair. When I didn't listened to her and went to hair salon to cut it more shortly, alas, I realized that short hair doesn't look good for me and my hair became dry and dull after. So since then, after my hair back to normal length, I just trimmed my hair about 2-3 inches.

Uh,about two months ,I don't like a long hair ,but in summer I cut my hair about one month .The weather is so hot in our city .

You once had your hair that was down to your waist?OMG!I have never seen hairs that long.I have my hair cut about every two months.Hairs too long don't adjust me.
