sleeping problem

What's the earliest you sleep at night,guys?Bcoz this is my problem.I cannot sleep right away even I go to bed early.I always woke up theh I finally sleep around 1 or 2 am:-(
I know it's not good especially I have to wake up 7 in the morning to fix my lunch to go wrk.
What you can advice me,guys so I can sleep early?any suggestions really appreciated.Thanx a lot!

If you are drinking anything with caffine or sugar in it after dinner you need to stop. Milk is a good choice to make you sleepy. Reading for a little while before you try to go to sleep can help you to relax and don't try to force yourself to go to bed too early because not being able to fall asleep can make you tense and that makes falling asleep harder. I hope this helps. I've had sleep problems for years and finally had to resort to prescription medication but that should only be a last resort.

thanx a lot spalladino,i really appreciated ur advice.i think ur right that i would stop drinking too much caffine or sugar.
regarding reading books bfore go to bed i would try that too although i don't like to read book that much.

Spalladino was right. I experienced it many times. Everytime I'm preparing my lesson plan , I always drink coffee just to stay my eyes open until I finish my work. Afte finishing all my work, the problem is my eyes are still wide awake. So, it's better to drink milk. Let's change our sleeping habit Leng. I read from Long's blog that one of the cause of liver failure is by sleeping late.

sleep too late coz liver failure???waaaaaaaaaaa!i think i have liver failure bcoz i feel pain the left side of my stomach:-(huhuhuhu!i hope its not.

you posted your discussion 6 months ago,do you still have that sleeping problem til now?I'm into such situation right now,I do have a sleep problem,I really can't sleep right away especially when I sleep early coz I'm not used to it.What I do is drink warm milk just to fall asleep.

I generally have a very erratic sleep patterns, I tend to wake up at about the same time even without an alarm clock no matter time I go to bed, but when I am stressed or worried it takes longer so fall asleep even though I am tired and I do wake up several times during the night. When it gets too much that I really can't sleep, if I have a day off or on the weekend what I do is not to sleep unless I get sleepy and thus stay awake all night and not to sleep/nap during the day and then go to bed really early and normally I am so tired I fall asleep right away. THIS IS NOT FOR EVERYONE. It works for me, if your sleep becomes really complicated and difficult the best advice is to go to a doctor.
Simple things to help make a person sleep, are warm milk like has been mentioned - add a little honey if you like it it helps. Camomile tea is very relaxing, it's a natural sedative. A nice warm relaxing bath/shower before going to bed also helps.

wow!thats very interesting advice leeloo,but drinking milk i think i have to force myse bcoz i really don't drink milk that much unless i put it on my cereal:-),but yes i do tke a shower evry night bfore go to bed.
about camomile tea i nver heard it bfore.hmmm...i have to ask in the store then maybe it helps me to go sleep early.

Earlies I could ever go to bed would be 10.30, it doesn't matter how eraly I have to get up.Usualy I'm up and working really late.Ever when I have to get up early I usualy donn't go to bed till round midnight.

Leng I have that problem right now, I just post a discussion about my insomnia, last night I finally sleep at around 5:00am. I'm so sleepy but when I close my eyes I can't sleep. I dont know why, I don't drink coffee or anything has caffien in it! maybe I have health problems waaa, what I do is, I buy this spray pain reliever, I spray it on my head coz it gives a cooling sensation then mawala imo headache or I used salonpas, sometimes I have "kabuhi" naa sad ka ana? lol!

kabuhi?!lol!no I don't have like that jona,but maybe we have the same problem that we can't sleep right away..they say once we get older we sleep less....huh!i think we're getting old now?waaaaaaaaaaaa

It usually happens to me after exams as during exams I dont sleep on time and thus everything changes in my nature and after the exams I dont feel asleep and when i go to sleep i wake up everytime, this happens to my frineds also. I think its because we have been adapted for some days to the other routine.
