I'm just about to wrap up the current anime series that I am watching. As I am trying to figure out what to watch next, I thought it might be interesting to ask other people what they are currently watching and how they like it.
I am on the last disc of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. I know that this is a really popular series, but I don't think I am as into it as a lot of other people. It's entertaining and can be funny sometimes, but there are a lot of other series that I've liked better.
So, what are you watching and how do you like it?

I just finished Vision of Escaflowne for the second time. (I like to re watch my anime after it's been a while) But if your looking for a good series I would suggest Rurouni Kenshin, or another good series is Beserk. Now with Beserk the ending is kind of crazy and the whole anime is very bloody but still really awesome! And if your more into harem anime, (which i am) You might like Ai Yori Aoshi.

Hi! Well I havent heard of your anime show but thats because Im out of the loop when it comes to anime. The last anime series that Ive finished and that Ive really loved was Vision of Escaflowne. At first I didnt watch it because it was all fighting and robots and things but that was on tv, and I had ot wait for it every week just to watch it. My friend had a DVD and let me borrow it and at the first few episodes I still feel the same way about it but after 5 episodes nonstop I really got in the story and I wanna know what happens next and at the end of it all I watched the last 3 episodes twice in one sitting. It was all so sad and the series overall had the best musical score that I have ever listened to and its the first anime that actually made me tear up. Glad I was 'forced' to watch it and I loved it in the end.
As of now, Im not really watching any animes right now. My friend told me to watch Avatar. He told me it was good and he watched the season 1&2 dvd. He cant wait for the 3rd one because the series is not yet finished. I think Im going to wait for the whole series to finish before I watch it myself.
Between Vision of Escaflowne and Avatar Ive watched the first 2 seasons of Detective Conan. It left me hanging since the series is 10 years old, has about 500 episodes and its still not finished.

I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who thought that The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya wasn't all that great. So far, the series that I am currently watching are:
*Nabari no Ou - A ninja series in a more modern day setting. I wanted to try something that isn't Naruto and this series is turning out to be pretty good.
*D.Gray-man - The action is getting good. It also has an interesting storyline.
*Katekyo Hitman Reborn! - I've been watching this one on and off but it's finally starting to pick up the pace.
*Ayatsuri Sakon - I'm a sucker for detective stories. Sakon, a puppeteer, goes around solving cases with his puppet, Ukon.
*Gintama - I love the randomness!
*Library War - It was the title that peaked my interest. Those are some pretty passionate people lol.
*Yakitate!! Japan - I love this series!

right now I'm watching like 10 Katekyo hitman reborn episodes every day to catch up to it
before that I was watching darker than black season 2, to aru kagaku no railgun, fma brotherhood, kimi ni todoke, and gintama, but I've put those on hold since I've become so obsessed with khr.

Yes, I don't think Suzumiya Haruhi is all that good either. Sure, it's entertaining, but it's not outstanding, in my opinion. Seems to have grown/be growing as one of the cult anime of the current anime generation though.
I'm currently watching:
-Macross Frontier
-Code Geass R2 (This is season 2, you'd want to watch season 1 first)
-Nabari no Ou
-D.Gray-Man
-Special A
-Itazura na Kiss
I've recently started:
-World Destruction
-Natsume Yuujinchou
I kinda' like all of them... I'd have to say Code Geass and Macross would be higher on the list. Special A and Itazura are light, funny romance anime which are there mostly for my shoujou needs... D.Gray-Man is okay... Nabari no Ou can be weirdly presented at times, but the plot is okay and I kinda' like the dark side of it.
On the ones I've recently started watching, I don't have much to say yet. But I've decided to continue watching them, so my response is positive for those two. :D
I think that would be all...
