How often do you iron clothes during the week?

I am wondering if I am the only one who still irons anything. Several of my friends say they don't bother anymore. My husband and I both have several items we prefer to have ironed. I realized the other day that I had let it build up so much that it took me two hours to do it all! How often do you iron? Or do you at all?

I don't iron much. Only if I'm wearing formal clothes which I seldom wear. When it's just a pair of jeans and my usual tank tops, no need to do ironing. But when it comes to handkerchief, I love ironing those little ones hehehe..

Never! :) I have a fundamental hatred of ironing, and I'm really bad at it, on top of that. I have stocked my wardrobe with things that do not require any ironing and only require a quick tumble in the dryer to get looking presentable. My guy is an ironing whiz, though, so if anything happens to need ironing, he's the one to do it. My brothers are ironing freaks, though. I think they spend more time ironing than any other clothing-related activity. I don't know where they got it from, because my mom (who did our laundry) was like me!

I actually do not even own an iron! I do have a little portable steamer that I use if something becomes horribly wrinkled which is rare since I hang everything up immediately after the drying cycle is done.

I used to spend hours ironing on the weekends, but fortunately I don't have to anymore. My husband does not have to wear dress shirts to work anymore, he can wear any shirt that has a colar, I hang them and his work pants while they are still damp and they come out nice and wrinkle free. On the rare occasion that something is wrinkled that needs to be worn I have a steamer, I just steam the wrinkles out of it. It is so much easier. The steamer takes about 5 minutes to do what it would take me a half hour to do with an iron.

I do own an iron at least...lol. I don't use it too often though. I tend to iron something right before I wear it rather than when it comes out of the laundry. Most of my clothes are wash and wear. I try to buy clothes that are wrinkle resistant. The stuff that does wrinkle easy I try to pull out of the dryer right away and hang up so I can possibly avoid the iron.

I iron every day, practically. They say it wastes so much energy so I try to iron on an afternoon when I am not doing anything and it does save time on those mornings that I get up late-- and I suppose it saves energy too !!!

My in-laws bought us an iron and ironing board for christmas 2 years ago. The board is still in the plastic and I don't think I could even tell you where the iron is. Isn't that terrible?

Hi, i try and do the ironing twice aweek, try and do as little as possible, have found that if i hang it on hangers as soon as i take it off the line it tends to be crease free. In the winter i tend to dry my stuff on a dryer in the front room and its more creased which means i have more to do

most of the time once a week, because i try to cut on our electric consumption. but my girls sometimes iron theirs clothes only when they will wear them. i hate it that they do that but often than not we just end up arguing.

I buy my husband wrinkle resistant clothing! As for myself, I just toss my shirt or jeans in the dryer with a wet towel and that steams the wrinkles out.
