i am a support person to someone with a mental illness, i find it very hard sometimes, they have been sick for over a year now, at times it really brings me down. i sometimes feel like i need a support person, if you support someone how do u cope?

I haven't experienced a mental illness or a mentally ill person. I pray no one gets mentally ill.
