I had lots of good childhood memory. I am very active as a child. Definitely most active than now where I spent most free time in front of computer. One of my fav moment is a scary one but I always remember it. I was a bout seven years old. I went into my grandma house, meet two of my cousins who were in the same age as me. I am a bit shy cause I rarely meet them. So I secretly watch them playing from the second floor. They were playing robots in the first floor. I do want do play with them but I am afraid they will reject me. So I am inching vloser and closer to the upper stair. I move my body forward to saw clearly how they play with the robots. Whoops. Suddenly I just felt I lose my grip at the stair and my whole body dive free from the second floor and landed at the first floor successfully in the big carpet. I felt numb. I don’t felt any extraordinary pain. Just some at my chest and head. Distantly I heard some grown up people voice. I felt Mom just pick me up and put me in grandma room. My parents keep asking me if anything hurt or did I had great pain. I just kept saying no. They called a doctor. After the doctor check me, he said I was all right and just need a little rest. I do had my head swollen though for a couple days. After than that I was okay. Of course anything bad can happen that day. But it did not. A little miracle. I had quite a life experience that day. I got to know my cousins well cause they said I was so brave that I did not cry after that nasty fall. ( I am so speechless and numb I could not even cry at the time) We became best friends since. And believe it or not, I feel smarter since that day. What are your favorite childhood moment? Share it here.

Wow. That is a bit scary, not only because you were afraid to ask your cousins if you could play with them, but also because of your trip down the stairs. It's great that you were alright, and that your fall without any tears made your cousins respect you for it. It's funny how things happen, that was almost like an ice breaker or a comic relief! Let's see. I think my fondest childhood memory was playing a game called Eggs Eggs Bacon and Ham. It is sort of like Mother May I, but you must guess whether a person is thinking Eggs, Eggs, Bacon or Ham. It's been so long since I've played it that I am not sure if that was the exact rules for the game. It was a fond memory, as I had lots of fun playing with my cousins and sibilings.

Many people will outgrow these things and many people will adapt them later in life. It is just how the coin is flipped. Eggs Eggs Bacon and Ham is such a strange title for a game, I am sure. I know that when I told my fiance's mother of this game she exclaimed "what?" as she had never heard the name of the game. Have A Great Day and Happy Postings To You. I see that you have started posting more.

Thats the beauty of children games. They could had strange name or maybe something that even kids invented themselves like I do when younger. As long as the children feel happy and excited about the games, it will be great. I and my brother had play so many games when we were small that both of us created out of nowhere.

Lots of them. But the one that comes to mind is my brother and I sneaking down the staircase on Christmas Eve to see if Santa Claus had come but instead we saw my dad and mom kissing as they sat on the floor beside the Christmas tree putting presents underneath it for us kids. We never told them we saw it and pretended like we believed in Santa Claus for years after that. I think I was about 6 so my brother was 7 1/2 years old.

Nice to pretended that you believed in Santa Claus for years to come. Do you always got the gift you wanted from Santa Claus since then?

Oh yes! I always get the gift of health and loving children. I was quite impressed with your story. My brother and I used to jump from the top of the barn into piles of hay, about 15 feet. I can't imagine falling onto a rug!

I do hope I would not experience that kind of fall ever again. Maybe if I falled this time, I will actually cry.

My best memory was just being at home with my parents who are now gone, but I felt so secure at home I hated ever going out of it, I hated school, I just liked being home, when I think of my parents I think how lucky I was to have just wonderful parents...

I am very tomboy at my childhood. I don't play dolls, play cooking, or play girl stuff. I like to play kites, climb tree, many tree i try to climb but i failed at coconut tree. my mother always catch me when i try to climb my coconut tree at the back yard. Se never angry when i climb our jack fruit tree, mango tree, keres tree (i don't know the name in english of this tree, but it has sweet small fruit like cherries), I even fight with boys at my school, catch dragon flies at a small savana full of green grass. I miss it sometimes only sky and green grass..

i don't grow up having a lot of play in my childhood life. all that i know is that i love to read books, listening nursery rhymes and go travel with my father wherever he go. but when i start going to school, i can't go with my father anymore and so i am left hoe for school. i don't think it was all a happy memory but it is something i would be able to share with my children when i get old.
