Is that surprising not having ever been in love as a freshman?

We often have a topic of our old romance in the dormitory.All of my roommates had a love affair before excepting me.... Aftering i told them that i never had a love affair ,they felt amazed and said:"you are a monster!"As a student in high school ,i just paid my attention to my studies.To date,the number of boys who i talked with on my own initiative is less than 10.Maybe i'm a monster....i feel shamed when i talk with boys.i just get together with girls.What can i do ?Just fall in love ,feel the love?

First,I don't think you need to feel ashame for not having a boyfriend.Many freshmen around me are still single.I am also one of them.You find your lover only because you love him,noe because it is time for you to have a boyfriend.
second,you are not a monster,neither are the boys.We,the boys,are just like you.We are ordinary students.So I think we can communicate with each other easily.Just try to talk with them.At the beginning you can talk to them with some girls.I think you can get used to it.

I'm just trying to change myself to get rid of shyness in front of boys. Not only did it have influence on my communication,but also on my future career.I know.....

it's not surprising to never have been in love. i'm one example. i never fell in love when i was a student. immediately after leaving school, i'm married. arranged marriage by the way.
it's ok. things like falling in love just happens naturally i feel. when you fall in love, i guess you won't know you're in love at times or maybe might not have the courage to confess. it all differs for everyone. take your time. let it happen.

its not surprising at all as i never loved someone when i was sudyting as i never give a thought about it during my studies. i was so busy with my studies that i never thought of it. you are not a monster, just try to talk to boyus when you are with your friends and feel atease dont be stressed at all. try to be cool and talk to boys normally. and be as you are in front of boys, dont try to show off. with time you will get used and will no longer be afraid. and you dont need to feel ashame as this is normal.
