I started wearing make up in middle school. I didn't wear it all the time though. Even now i don't wear it all the time. If i don't have time then i don't wear it but i usually just do something with my eyes.

I started wearing make up around 11 years old, too.
I don't see a problem with kids wearing make up as long as it's age appropriate. Like a 10 year old probably shouldn't be going around with a full face of super dark make up or anything. Maybe a little lip gloss or lipstick or some like eyeshadow. To me the age that you start wearing it isn't as important as what and the amount they're wearing. Really little girls love to play dress up and I know my mom would sometimes even put a little of her make up on us when we would. I don't see anything wrong with that. Or just if you're getting ready and your little girl wants some lipstick on, I dont' see a problem with that.
I think the 'what age is too young' question is something each family kind of has to decide on their own. It's up to each individual. If I had kids I'd let them play around in the house with make up when they're young, but I think I'd want them to wait till they were like 10-13 before they started wearing it out in public.
