What types of friendships do you have?

Do you have many casual friends, several close friends, more than one "best friend" or is there one special friend who is most important to you? Do you open up to any of your friends or are you simply social with them and keep your inner fears, hopes and dreams to yourself?
I have a few friends and then I have my closest friend, my best friend. She's the only person I really open up to aside from my husband.

My sister is my very best friend, she almost knows more about me than my husband does. Then I have a partner at work and we are best friends too, and a Sister in law who was my friend before she became my SIL.And of course my husband. I guess I share differnt things with all of them. You see each person is special on their own way and fills a need the others may not.
My SIL and I are clothes shopping buddies, we go out have fun, eat to much and buy to much. When my Aunt was alive she was great for going out and trying new things. When we wanted to try someplace new to eat, we did not hesitate to ask her and my Uncle and be afraid that they woulf not like it.
I have lots of causal friends and again each in some ways fills a need. We have travelng buddies and so on.

My sister (Barbietre), is my best friend, too. I have another good friend who lives far away but we keep in touch. My daughter and I are very close, too. We are mother and daughter PLUS friends.
I have two good friends who live close to me and some friendly acquaintences. One I see a lot, the other, not so much, due to her husband's health problems.
I have many other friends I either see now and then or who live far and I keep in touch via email. When I moved out of state, I left many behind, that was hard for me.
I don't go out much as my business, that I am not retired from, had me so busy, that it was hard to have a social life. I enjoy going out but am into just have a home life right now, that I have not had as much of as I would have liked.
I am not a big shopper, but when I do, I go alone many times, with my husband, with my daughter, and now and then with friends. I am more of a "shop on line" person.

I stayed in a hostel for the majority of my life so I had plenty if these social friends ,the hi hello type and Never opened up with them, But i hae few friends with whom i share my heart out.We share everything with each other, our joys ,our sorrows and i am lucky to have a friend like him, I would like to thank him from the bottm of my heart and hope he always remains the same

i have to answer with my truest friend is like my soul sister.she knows every thing even the worst thing there could possibly be about me, we have grown up together and brough our kids up together.
I have lots of casual friends like here on the internet, and yet I have made some amazing friends through the internet too. I have met about 5 of them and we are now as close as if we were neighbours.
I live away from my soul sister but have three friends here where I live.I dont have much of a social life right now but then when I do its usually with one of the three.
I would have to say my daughter is my best and closest friend I have ever had.

I guess I'd have to say I have one true friend, she means the world to me, I can talk to her about anything. I mean things I can't even talk to my husband about, not like he would really listen, lol.
