Has anyone else noticed that with the new improved Yahoo if you get spam in your regular mailbox you have to delete it twice? First it goes to the spambox, which used to be the bulkbox, when you mark it as spam. Then when you check to see if there's anything worth reading in the bulkbox you have to delete it again, only to be asked if you're sure you want it to go in the trash. Why can't it go directly to the trash when you mark it as spam? I hope this new improvement gets improved again soon.

If you keep it there in the spam box I am sure they will delete it themselves in time. I have not had that experience yet but with Yahoo offering unlimited disk space it is their call and they might think that making you work to get rid of your spam is one way to make sure they really are spam and you want them out of your system altogether. Some people decry how Yahoo treats un-whitelisted emails and that might have triggered a second look at their spam policy.

That's a good point about the unlimited disk space. Maybe they were being so nice before they made it more time-consuming that we got spoiled. I do miss being able to only have to look at the crappy stuff once, though.
