I Was reading something in my emails that says he is tring to pass a bill that would got each family in american $8500 something in taxes every year to put into a global fund for the poor arent we putting out enough for other countries as it is?
Quote:
President Obama Signs $8500.00 Per Household Tax Into Law: Funds To Go To The United Nations To Combat Global Poverty!
Make no mistake, the headline above is a lot closer to fact than you may think! So if you're wondering what an Obama presidency would be like, look no further than the above headline!
What the media is NOT telling you is that Barack Hussein Obama does, in fact, have a legislative record in the Senate and one of his proudest accomplishments is The Global Poverty Act (S. 2433).
(What I Want to know is why it passed in the housedont they read these bills?)
But wait just a minute! Isn't combating poverty around the world a noble goal?
Well... the devil, as they say, is in the details!
Some conservative leaders are already sounding the alarm and telling us that, if passed, Barack Hussein Obama's Global Poverty Act will commit us to a stealth United Nations-inspired global tax of $845 Billion dollars... that comes to approximately an $8500.00 tax burden for every household in the United States!

What is wrong in helping the poor. Yes the Government of America help alot of countries but those countries has to do something in return. Helping the poor is not to give in one hand and take it back out of the other. This is a good thing. Maybe the money is too much. but remember it is for a worthy cause.

right on kitty, we have hungry right here in our own country, dont' you think they should be fed first, we have people living on the street, don't you think they should be taken care of first, you still have people from Hurricane Katrina who still have no place to go, and I am one of them, there is no more money to help rebuild, not New Orleans, but where the storm actually came ashore and took the entire town, what about us. I am rather sick of giving money to countries that do nothing to help themselves but lay around and have more babies to later starve. We are always out to help overseas, but who cam eto our rescue from overseas when we had the hurricane, not one country did i see coming to help, except the mexicans that came and did do the work most didnt' want to do, where was all these countries that we are constantly giving money too. How much does she give, problem none but thinks it ok for the rest. I am disabled now but I used to work for general motors and it was manditory that each week there was money came out of our chec for feed the children, I didn't mind it helping one child but we can't do it all take care of our selves first, let some of the other countries like england and the queen give some of their money away, they dont' even pay taxes,

nothing wrong with helping poor but we have lots of poor people here about 6,000 a month live on our streets here in Vegas and more come every day.
Our taxes souldnt be raised no one can afford what he plans even millionaires would be hard put to do this .
Each house hold to pay over $*%)) in taxes for this some dont make that much a year! I cant think ofwhere Obama gets off trying to get this thru I hope the HOUSE wakes up to this plan and denie it.
I know people from both Katrina and Rita that havent got anything back we need to start there and with the hoeless here before any more of our hard earned cash goes some wheres else!

You said it all when you said "Some CONSERVATIVE LEADERS are already sounding the alarm and telling us that, if passed, Barack Hussein Obama's Global Poverty Act will commit us to a stealth United Nations-inspired global tax of $845 Billion dollars... that comes to approximately an $8500.00 tax burden for every household in the United States!" Of course CONSERVATIVE LEADERS are sounding the alarm for anything any Democrat has ever said. What you have to realize is this - even if this is accurate, which I highly doubt, that figure of $8500 for every household is either an average or a median figure. The very wealthy will pay considerably more than that $8500 and obviously the middle class and lower income families will pay considerably less. I don't know about you but I'd rather have my tax dollars go to fight poverty than to fight an immoral war with no victory even defined and no end in sight, as it stands now.

This is scary! I make $9.85 an hour! And I'm close to retirement age. The democrats always take a good story, but want to pile taxes upon taxes upon taxes to pay for the cool programs they want to begin. Give me a break! I can't afford any more taxes!

Wow, got that news in an e-mail you say? From a self-professed conservative web-site whose sole purpose is to keep Obama out of office? Oh, look, and it's run by conservatives with years of "campaign experience" Oh, yes, I'm sure your getting very in-depth, fair and balanced news from them!

Perfect analysis....this isn't even news it is rhetoric and hate rhetoric at that. Unbelievable!
Obama has said repeatedly that it is his belief that those who earn six figure salaries should have a greater tax burden than those who do not. Most people should be pleased that he wants to undo the preferential treatment that the well to do have received under the current administration.
He has said that he himself should have a greater tax burden based on his families earnings. His plan would mean that I would have a greater tax burden, do I want to pay more taxes on my earnings? No I don't but I understand the logic, tax burdens should be distributed fairly.

ROFL, theproperator! Yes, the nature of the source does say it all--if only folks would listen. The connection between political campaigning and baseless rumors has always been around, but the Internet age has given rise to a whole new dimension within that process. I saw one yesterday that said Obama is a communist and should he if he be elected, God would "lift his hand of protection from the United States." Quite a qualitative political discussion, that. I expect better of my fellow citizens, but somehow I'm always disappointed.

I dont see anything wrong with helping the poor. obviously if you are poor now u dont have to worry about them taking that out,
alsO i think its just alittle bs about the total comes to. because withen this next year. more and more people are going become head of house holds. move out into diffrent places from their parents creating more. households not to mention al the illeagels who become leagel.. there just cant be a total right now. and they are saying this to scare us...
im not really sure on my veiws about him. though him getting close to take the thrown makes me nervous. just because he is not of our religion, this means he wont say our pledge of allegience either. Also, what is up with him denieing to put on our flag pendenant, that bothers me.

Lakota, I still can't get past the idea that America could have a headline that reads:
President Barrack Hussein Obama.
t just sounds wrong and very ominous. I think we will all be in for some surprises that will be unhappy ones. To say he is going to change things I think is a grave understatement.
As for this tax thing...where are people going to find that sort of money? It's just ludicrous. Let him deal with the homeless and poverty stricken Americans first.
Better still, don't elect him.

I keep telling them vote for this man and cry afterwards, he is more concerned with nations overseas and what he can do for them, than he is about the united states, it is my opinion that he will be using the united states to further the rest of the world. yes I thought too when it comes to Globas Poverty it is the whole worlds problem, not just the usa. I believe this man is out to destroy us, and they just keep pushing his buttons to get him elected, most of the big shi*ts in washington look at him as unexperienced and he would be a puppet in their hands as to what and how they want things done, but I believe he already has his own idea in how he is going to do things. I keep screaming WAKE UP AMERICA, research what he is saying on many of the topics that will effect us, but all anyone can yell back is I don't like him cause he black, well black has nothing to do with it, he is a snake that dont' like white people and you know that that is where most of the money is going to come out of their pockets, so let this man get elected and we have destroyed the usa.
