Does your pet communicate with you?

My dog is so cute. Everytime after I let her out to do her business and we are going in the house she gets all excited and heads to wait for her treat. When she gets it she ALWAYS makes this little sneeze noise. My husband and I think she is saying "thank you". She reacts to play, walk, bath and ride. Sometimes I will egg her on and make a long howling sound and pretty soon she is doing it too. So funny! What do your pets do that bring a smile to your face?

i think my cats do talk to me. they'll bring me to their food bowl if it's empty. they'll also bring me to their litter pan when it needs cleaning. sometimes they'll also try to ask for treats. they are usually successful as i just cannot reject them when they give me the doe-eyed look. i'd think i'm even spiritually connected to my girl as i can sense her distress when no one else does. i've ever heard her when no one else can.

Yes, I think cats do communicate in their own way. And at times I find them very mysterious. Thanks for sharing.

That is so cute. What is her name? My puppy, I always call her that but she's 12, Sandy Bean is the smartest, most gentle cocker in the world. She does so many silly and funny things I can write a book! She will eat spaghetti like in the "Lady and the Tramp" movie. The best thing is that she knows what day it is? I don't understand it! We have tried to disprove this theory every possible why we could. But every Saturday, she MUST go up the street to the cemetery to do her "business"... we tried putting her in the backyard and she would drag us through the alley toward the cemetery? We tried leaving her in the front yard and see if she would go there? NOOOOO she pulled toward there? Even now that she is older and cannot walk that far, she will go to the end of our driveway and sit facing the cemetery and wait for us to DRIVE her there! On any other day she will not even attempt to go that way, she just goes outside, does her thing and goes right back in the house. OR waits for my Dad "Grampa" to pick her up. She just KNOWS what day it is? Also, even though she can't hear very well, she "knows" when a UPS truck goes by... not FedEx, not DHL, only UPS will she bark her head off! Silly puppy, trix are for kids.

Your dog sounds to cute!!! ;) My cat Fry always seems to know when I'm down because thats the time he wants to cuddle the most and follow me around the house. It really makes me happy to see that in his own special kitty way he loves me! Or so I tell myself any way... lol!

I believe that dog is one of the most intelligent animal or pet. They have their own way of expressing whatever they have inside. My dog always bark and wiggle his tail whenever he saw me. He will lick my hand whenever I go near him and throw some food, showing his appreciation for the given food. That's what make them closer to us, they know how to show affection and appreciation for the things we do to them.

My dog has a love for carrots and she will stare and make noises at you until you ask her 'what do you want' then she runs and stares at the fridge, once you go to the fridge and get out a carrot for her she will eat it then jump up to you and give you a massive lick on your face :D :P
