I remember as a kid my family listening to baseball games on the radio. Then when I was about 12 I started watching baseball on tv.Now Iam in my 40's and I prefer to watch the games.I get confused about what's going on when I try to listen to the game on the radio. However when Iam with my mom and uncle and we have to go somewhere and either the football or baseball game is still on then they turn it on in the car.Ugh! Iam constantly having to ask one of them what happened.Do you prefer to watch it on tv or listen on the radio?

I was born in Washington,DC and live in northern Virginia,so I am a Redskins fan.Watch them on TV all the time. However I cannot choose who I want to win when they are playing my second favorite team the Tennessee Titans.

On TV! My dad told me he grew up listening to the St. Louis Cardinal games on the radio. He remembers the first time he saw a game on TV at his neighbor's home. I love to watch sports on TV, way more than listening to the radio. But if it is an important game, and I'm in my car, I'll turn it on. It's better than nothing.

Like I said if we have to be in the car I don't understand it and have to ask my mom and uncle what's happening. There has been times when I have not in the same car with them and I have to call them and ask what happened.I tried listening, but I didn't get it.If I see it,I get it then.

TV is much better then radio as radio commentators they are not good enough to be able to tell everything. On TV i can see for myself how well things are going in an match.

For baseball games, I like to watch them on TV, but I will actually listen to the game on the radio at the same time. I find that the radio broadcasts are more descriptive and do a better job of filling in the time with useful information. They also do a good job of making you see the entire game and everything that is happening because you need to be told it with the radio broadcasts. I really love the radio, though. It's good to get people who know what they are talking about and very good at describing things tell you what's happening. They paint the picture for you!

Oh, I prefer to watch games on t.v., Dfollin, however, what I usually do is watch TV, and turn the sound down low and listen at the same time. Especially when it comes to college football. The radio announcers tend to paint a great picture with the mind, but at the same time you can actually see the game too.

I remember when was a kd growng up, my dad used to love to lsten to the local high school basketball games on the radio. We could never watch those on tv anyway. We never got to go to any of the games either. I would much rather go to the actual game in person but since that gets tme consumng and expensiiive, I prefer to watch sports on tv.

I tend to be more of a visual person, so I would prefer to see something than listen to something any day. I think my concentration span is better for seeing than listening!

I prefer to watch sports on TV. With having DVR now I usually just record something if I can't be home to watch it rather than listening to it on the radio. I like seeing the action, not just hearing about it. It's just more enjoyable to me.
