Do you sell your pic? Where are the best places to go for this?

I love taking pictures. I'm a shutter bug big time. Taking snaps of the family and the scenery is a favorite pass time of mine.
I know I've seen places to do to download your pic and if people want to download them they have to buy them.
I have not tried the one or two I've heard about so far.
I'm not really good with the computer. I forget things and have to write everthing down. Having a place to sell my pictures would be so grand.
Any tips on doing this? How is the best way or best places? I need to figure out how to change the size of my pictures without messing them up.
All help will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.

I use BigStockPhoto. You can't name your own price there and I think you get less money per photo (50 cents minimum, and it goes up depending on the size of photo that someone downloads or what they're going to use it for). But I've found that they accept photos that other places think will not sell. So since I take a lot of shots that other places won't want, I use BigStockPhoto and like them. I've made over $200 with them so far, so it adds up.

Thank you for the link. I also feel this way. a little adds up and goes a long way. I'm not looking for a get rich quick type of thing. If they were on the up and up it would be ok. But none of them are. I don't mind waiting for the money to build up. I know it takes work to make money and sometimes it comes slowly. Like in here. I have yet to get my first money. It's close, I've been in here for a few months.

Yeah, here it takes me a long time to get my payout. With the photos they pay out at $30. I have 350 photos up currently and usually every few months I reach the $30. A lot of subjects I shoot aren't the most popular subjects, but I tend to not take photos just for the sake of taking a stock photo. Instead I'll take photos and look at them later and decide that they might be useful for someone and submit them.
I hope it helps you out with a bit of spare money like it does for me.
