Are you afraid of going to the dentist?

I absolutely HATE the dentist, no ifs ands or bbuts about it lol

Not really, just to see the pointed needle but for the rest i love to go to the dentist.

i don't think tht i need any dentist at this age..:)

its not like i hate but i feel bad for myself and feels embarrased at times ..and its a kind of an expense aswell ..so all in all i dont want to end up visiting a dentist

I'm not afraid, but I've never had a bad experience either, I suppose if you've had the wrong teeth pulled or something, you'd have an attitude against the dentist.

Yes, I am afraid to go to the dentist. I had to have seven teeth pulled and I went to a dentist that my friend recommended. He shot me up with the numbing stuff really good twice. When he went in and started pulling teeth I kept telling him that I could still feel everything and that I needed some laughing gas or something. He said, "I will give you some in a minute." But, he never did, I felt everything on all seven teeth and it was torture. Afterward he told me that I have a rare condition where the numbing stuff doesn't work on my gums just my lips, cheeks, etc. I screamed at him for not giving me the laughing gas that he promised and that he was a horrible dentist. I walked out of the office to my husband in the parking lot and I just balled my eyes out, it was very painful for a week. So, yes, I am greatly afraid now to go to the dentist.
