What happens to us after we die. Is there a place called heaven where we go up to. Are we born again? And if so are we able to remember what has happened to us in our previous life? What do you think of this?

I think it is good we do not remember anything if we are reborn. Will check the discussion you posted and reply the same.

I think that we are not meant to remember the past but that some "memories" can be in our spiritual memory. We may not know why we remember something or that we are remembering, because our limited, human brains are not meant to. I guess we will all find out whose beliefs are true, once we pass!!! LOL Do I care what others believe? No, because as long as you are a good person and live a good and honest life, it does not matter, does it?

I believe that we all pass over to the other side, that has many names.. Nirvan, Heaven.... I don't believe in Hell as I feel each life we choose, or don't choose to return into (we can choose to remain over there and learn but learn faster on this side), is part of our soul-learning. I also don't believe in a God or being who would be so vindictive. We come back as man, woman, gay, straight, good, bad, different races and religions, that's why prejudice is silly. We choose our path in life to learn and most of our challenges (becoming ill, losing loved ones, and other tragedies or difficulties) are basically planned by us before we come here. That is where so many premonitions come from, as somewhere in our soul memory, we know something will happen. These are my beliefs. If anyone does not believe this, don't challenge me on these, tell me it's stupid, etc., as I don't care about that. I know what I believe and it's unshakeable.

I believe heaven and hell is here on earth. I dont want to believe that God will wait for us to die before punishing us for our sins. And I dont start discussions to challenge anyone but to share information. Even my beliefs are unshakeable! Happy posting!

Oops, found a typo, I meant Nirvana, not Nirvan. Is there a way to edit our responses?

I am of a personal belief that we lived with God before this life and that we earned the right to come here to gain a body and to then earn the right to move on to the next life and gain our own Godhood. I know that sounds a little out there but If you think about it it can make sense. The Bible doesn't tell us everything so we Kinda have to work somethings out. If you look at some of the text of the Bible there are words like "Us" in Genesis where God is talking about the worlds creation. So I figure who is us? See more of how I believe by going to mormon.org

From dust we come and to the dust we will go. Right?

There is a place name the grave and another name the crematory. Take your pick, all have to pass through one of them first. What happens after that is just a guessing game. Not even those who sell salvation have any idea about the end or should I say the new start.

I really don't know I just heard from my uncle that there really a "heaven" waiting for us, only "heaven". We are going to live..like eternal life with all the people around the world, no discrimination, no different language and no "disasters". I hope this is real, no one can proof there is eternal life but I hope there is. If I ever I will born again I will make it right, but I hope I will remember everything I had in the past. So I can thank all the people who became a part of my life. =) I want to live forever, Life is wonderful..living is worth..and I owe it to God and to my parents.

I wish there was no discrimination here on earth! As for thanking people you should start it now. I think we owe it to our family and people around us that life is so wonderful and we should thank them at every opportunity we get.

What happens to us after we die... that really depends on what you believe in. Personally I believe in heaven and hell. This is more of a religious question rather than a life question... If you believe in heaven and hell you do have all your previous memories. If you believe in recarnation I don't think you remember your past. I think (I might be wrong) what your recarnated as depends on what your previous life was like.

Yes this may be a religious question but then if everyone believes in reincarnation why dont they try to be better human beings so that we may have a better life in our next birth?

this is truly a hard question witch i ask myself to but there were so many answers in time that nothing is certain, could be heaven or hell, could be valhalla, could be reincarnation and not sure of what other tales there are, about the memory i'm not sure, deppends on what happens like if it's heaven then you remember but if it's reincarnation then you don't, i myself lean to reincarnation dunnow why

I think all of us want to believe in reincarnation. I think it is so that we will meet our leved ones again. But nobody seems to have any answer to our questions.
