Since my dad is abroad, I am the one he orders around to surprise mommy during special occasions. I remember having to buy a cake at the town and looking for flowers even if it was already dark outside! It was for Valentine's anyway. Now that my parents have just celebrated another year for their wedding anniversary, I was obliged to buy another cake just to celebrate the occasion. What I bought was Banoffi Pie, and it was the first time that I had a piece of it! (sorry, no one in my family bakes - my mom actually was just taught by my dad to do simple cooking) back to the topic, have you actually tried cooking the said dessert? I have seen it over the internet with instructions and tips on preparing and perfecting it. And wow, I really want to prepare one for myself. :( how about you? any comments?

Yes of course! I think you should really try this. Where are you from anyway? If you are here in the Philippines, you could just buy from the bake shop named Red Ribbon. :) It's actually a wonderful and tastebud-tickling surprise! We even had the whole pie in less than 3 days! :D It is also of natural setting having bananas for one of its layers. :) I really recommend it for all the people! :D

I never heard of it. What's in it? You could put it in a search term and might be able to find something on the internet that will help you. You've got me curious, I think i may look it up myself.

I've already tried the Banoffi Pie of red ribbon here in the Philippines. It was too sweet and yet heavy for the stomach. But of course I like it. I remember that the first time that I've eaten this cake was my birthday since my sister in law gave me. Then when my niece saw it that the cake is giving to me she just cheered that YEHEY THERE IS CAKE then her mother told her that, this is for your Auntie then she said AY! in disappointed manner then she cried hahahah!!! She was 2 years old when it happens.
