why i only earn just points/cents why not one dollar for the day?

i totally agree with 1+1=6 and insaneduck9, i've been with MyLot for over 4 months and as you can see i don't even have 400 posts. that's because i only start discussions or respond to discussions that are truly interesting to me. it's not about the money (you'll never make a living with MyLot) it's about sharing my thoughts with others. i could be like a lot of people here.....you can tell the people just trying to make money.....their discussions look something like this: what you put on your pizza? explorer or firefox? what music you like? for me it's all about the quality of the discussion, not how many 1 line stupid questions i can post. so, just have fun, share your opinions, and meet different people from all over the world. don't put so much importance on the money.....it will add up in due time.

If you only see points by your name and no earnings yet,it's because you posted after the earnings updated this morning. Earnings are updated once each day, usually mid morning U.S. eastern (NY) time. If you've just started posting in the last 12 hrs, you won't see anything yet. Whatever you do today will be shown in your earnings tomorrow.

i guess just post a quality discussion and answer to feedback as much as you can.,don't put yourself into burden... i mean all you have to do is just enjoy posting and for sure you will see that your putting lots of numbers in the box.,Ü have a nice day ahead!

its not just the quantity of how many posts you make a day. its all the quality of posts you make that matters most. besides earning in mylot is not that easy and big too. earnings for mylotters are just tokens and reward for those who really participate more and work harder to help each other.

This is also same to me. But I think it doesn't matter how many posts u've post, it depends on the quality post u've done. Try to find some topics U can interested in, and write something more instead of only one or two sentences.

Well mylot doesn't only post on how many topics you post. It also pay's by the quality of the article, answer, even discussion's! Just keep on posting quality answer's with 1-2 paragraph's each and you'll be making money in no time! Also, if your only on Mylot for money, this website isn't for you. This website is for people who have free time and enjoying answering and participating in discussions.

Hi Charlesasyad, Think of a better topic that everyone can relate to and if that discussion gather at least 50 responses then you'll be surprised with its earnings. Try responding more and add more friends, you'll find this an advantage. Good luck, enjoy posting and more power to you.

The secret here is to make yourself busy responding to discussions.If you have something in mind for all the discussions here then do respond to it and you will be surprise in the next day.You only have a few figure seems you are not active yet,other users here have a huge figure already though they are only one or two days here,so please start responding to discussions and consider other tips here like make your discussion or responses at least 4 to 5 lines.Good luck.

Hello charlesasyad, I am a newbiew also and I don't yet how to do it. But one of my friend told me that you must post an interesting topic, not the one that you are interested but the majority you think to be interested. Participate in discussion with at least 4 lines per post, when posting make it accurate in spelling and in grammar too. And the last thing is to refer many friends as you can, you can get 25% of their earning. So lets do our best here in myLot.

I understand that it is sometimes tempting for new members like us to post just to aim for the pay. However, as many seniors have pointed out, it is by no means able to earn your keep just by posting in mylot. I feel that mylot wants to promote quality discussions rather than plain text wanting to post just for the sake of money.
