who is flat stanley well here goes. my 7 year old niece who goes to school in ct is doing a project they color a man name stanley and cut him out so he is flat. they mail him out to all family memebers in different parts of the states, i got mine last friday i took stanley around taking pictures of where we went tom my daugther has a trip and i am taking him with us. lol people laugh when they see my daugther holding him and im taking a pic, but it a good and fun way for the kids to learn about different parts of the states and how they live and do things.. do you agree?

Oh yes! My daughters school did Flat Stanley, too, and they loved it! I was a little disappointed that she just sent him to her grandparents (where we used to live) instead of to other relatives...but they all did presentations so the kids got to see and learn a little about all the other areas, too.

Yeah that is so cool. Post the pictures here too so We can see where flat Stanley has gone. Anyways school is out here. Is Your niece in 1st grade or second grade? Or some other grade. I never heard of flat Stanley before but I think that sounds educational and very interesting. I am sure it will be a project Your niece will remember for years to come. To make sure I would remind Her every school year hey remember when? Especially when She gets to the higher grades and goes on a trip Herself. She can take a picture for Her Aunt of Her and flat Stanley when She is older or even each year as She grows. God Blesses!

Hi, Wandalie.
Yes, I agree that flat stanley is a good project for kids. I have spoken with many kids who have done this project and have learn a lot from it.
