Do you like to color?

I color. I like it because it is relaxing and easier than painting. I am artistic and need some clean outlet while the kiddos are around. Can you imagine my oil paints? So I stick with this for now. Maybe when they are older I can get back to oil painting. Another bonus is it is a great way to spend time with my kids. We color and talk. It can't get much better than that.

I like to color, correction I love to color. lol I'm an artist but sometimes it's just fun to color for the heck of it. My partner is going to be an early childhood teacher and she does it a lot with the kids. So sometimes we color together.

Yes I did actually. One that I a couple years ago actually. I haven't colored as much as I need to lately though.

That is nice. Did you draw it too or is it a coloring page?

Well coloring is good and I can understand a preference for it rather than painting. Coloring is also easy to do not just on paper or booklets but also in regular programs like paint or artbook.

Oh, don't get me wrong. I LOVE to paint and draw too. Drawing I could probably get back to, and maybe even acrylic or water color painting, but oils will have to wait until the kids know not to play paint the wall.

I am a young mother and I still love to color since I can remember. It is a relaxing way to relieve stress. I do not need to drink chamomile tea as much because of this. Chamomille and lavender helps relieve stress too but coloring books are cheaper than the teas. You can buy coloring books at the dollar store. They have lots available. Also, while my kids are busy coloring, it gives me more time to do my chores, or it gives me a chance to relax for myself, and if I choose to color with my kids, they open up more to me and they are more relaxed to talk to me. I think more business offices, dental offices, hospitals, etc. should have coloring books and crayons available, not only for the customers/patients, but for the employees as well. They should take 5-10 minutes of their time to color, out of their work schedule and they will benefit from the stress release and be more productive in their jobs. Also, coloring books and crayons should be written off for tax as a business expense because it helps employees to function better.

This is true. I love expression through art. I wish I could get my son more into the arts. He just doesn't have the capacity right now to fully enjoy art. More of an on the go kid.

I love to color! :) I like to get down on the floor with my children and color. Your absolutly right. It is a great way to spend time with your children. They open up and will chatter away while they are coloring with mommy. Even when my children are in bed I like to color still because it's so relaxing and calming.

Yes, just playing with them will do that. I think if more parents spent that kind of time with their kids instead of on the phone, computer or tv, our society would be better.

I love all the colors too. I can only color with Crayola though. 96 colors. 103 or 4 if I get the ones with the sniffy stuff.
