Without the internet several days!?

zz1111_ Yikes! I went internet-less for five days when I moved from one state to another. I thought I would die, but I didn't. The worst part was feeling alone and lonely without my mylot friends.

Actually i'm quite used to being without the internet for several days. I mean, i'm a living example. I've survived without a home computer for months during the time while I was gone, and the only connection I could have to the internet is through the college's library. I also kept files i've downloaded and saved to my external hard drives and flash drives; perhaps up to a terabyte of files downloaded since 2001. So i'm very used to living without the internet for a long period of time, especially during my time I was away.

Can't you go on an internet cafe or something for the meantime? What happened to your internet? Ours got cut because I didn't pay lol..Husband is so bored at home. Ican use internet at work so I am here mostly every weekdays.

It will be the worst part in life if we dont have internet friend. I was literally mad for the past one month or so and coz I moved to a new place and it took me a month time to get settle here and apply for a internet connection. I literraly went mad without internet and now my face is glooming like a 1000 watts bulb after getting the internet connection.

The very thought of being without the internet scares me. The first thing I do after waking up is to check my mail. In modern times we are so much addicted to the internet that its very hard to live withou the internet. Internet is our life.

I go crazy as well when something happens where I can't get on . I work from home so it is really hard .Also, I love to keep in touch with my friends. I know what it is like !

Oh goodness I go crazy when I can't get on for half an hour, I don't know how I would go for weeks, I think I would go absolutely crazy.

I have tried that too zz and it is really hard, Even when i will watch TV, my mind is occupied of working in Mylot! I do know also how to survive if I am just inside the house 8 hours with no internet connection. I don't like it! Good thing this week, my connection is working great!

Oh gosh, it would be terrible. Internet is so important. Even if your computer is working, there are many things you can't do nowadays without internet connection. I would try to do other things to occupy my time and thoughts when this happens. But really, whether I want to use the internet is another thing - but I want it to be available when I want to use it!

Yeah i feel the same way too, without internet, thee is no way to contact the outside world 4 m,e....

We are a lot addicted to the internet that we cant imagine our lives without them...they have just become the part and parcel of our day to day life....

That will be so boring without the internet for several days. Therefore, if there is something wrong with the computer or internet, I alway want to fix it as soon as possible. I love China

i have such experience in my campus life.so i can understand you totally.i often borrowed a book from the school library and read books in the bed to kill time.or i preferred to sleep in bed. but indeed in those days i felt myself isolated from the world.internet becomes a part of myself gradually.

It is difficult to be cut-off from the rest of the world especially when you are used to having access to all the information that you need. I always go nuts when my internet connection bogs down. LOL. I can't stand it when I don't have access to the net.

Oh,i absoluty go crazy when i can not get on to the internet, thee is really not much to do. As they say, you do not know what you have til you lose it..

Oh I can so relate to how you feel about this as I myself was without from 29th May til 3rd of June and i was just so frustrating. I am usually here most days and I now have so many discussions to catch back up with too which is why I don't like to be away. I do so many things online that I really didn't appreciate how much I had become reliant on it until it was no longer available. Glad we both back online now though eh! Ellie :D

that was so sorry for you. but i think aside from getting hooked up with the internet, and having it to run your life, there still are a lot of thing that you can do with your life. you can spend your time on more quality stuffs with your family.

I would hate to be without the internet even for a day though I suppose that I could manage if I had to. It's not because I need it for anything in particular, I just have come to enjoy such sites as mylot.

It depends,I think if we make our mind,we can without internet for days or weeks,just not too addicted to it,we do have other things to do
