I had bought a computer at the beginning of this year, the trademark is Asuatek, and I like it very much.
The Orperating System I'm using is Windows XP,I think it's better than the system vista.
But in the future, maybe the vista will instead of XP,I think.
Although the XP is better, but the vista will advance in the future.
what about you?Do you think it will instead of XP?

i also use XP and have heard many, many complaints about Vista....the only problem is Microsoft says they're getting rid of XP so there will be no support for it, but as long as you can maintain the system you have, you shouldn't have any problems. also, i'm sure eventually they'll work all the bugs out of Vista and make it more user friendly.....but for now, give me my XP.

This is basically depend on which OS version the users is comfortable with.XP is better yes, because you are using this for a while, but to remain competitive.microsoft will not stop with XP just by improving it day by day, they need to come up something innovative that is why vista was released.
My suggestions to xp lovers here is,why not to give vista a few test each day or even a week,so that when it is released in a free bug version, then you are already adjusted with the new system.Just a thought from Vista user like me.

I think XP is better..
Its fast and reliable and vista still has some bugs in it. I also find the UAC or w.e it is in vista to be really annoying. Most programs and anti-viruses etc. only run on XP and not vista which is another problem. This is just to me, but the start menu is over simplified and it drives me nuts. I'm sure vista will improve in the future, but for now im gonna stay with XP until then

At first, thank you for your message,I think the xp is better than vista this time, but will be worse than it in the future.
The vista is also can be immerged by viruses, but I think it will be much better in the future.
Have a good time!!

I use xp and i have for quite a few years now. I am very happy with it i have no problems at all with it. I don't think i will ever switch to vista. I have heard of way too many problems with it and i really don't want to learn another operating system.

Hi,
As per as my requirements I've to install both. I've started using VISTA for couple of days. I'm not familiar enough with VISTA. But, it seems better than XP. VISTA has the glamor, XP doesn't have. I think VISTA the way treating programs is better than XP. But requires a good configuration to run.
I think windows defender makes a different between VISTA and XP. Moreover it supports the DX 10 and can run with voice command , I can't try its voice command feature. I think VISTA has lots of quality to be the BEST.

your oppinion is almost all of persons' oppinion, and we should believe that the new things will be insteaded of the old things in the end.

I have been using window since its 3.1 and in every new release there is this adjustment period where most users would rather use the old one instead. But eventually users and software adjust to the new one and everybody is happy with it, until again with new release. So giving vista some more time you'll see everybody will be using it.

I have 3 computers two uses XP the newest using vista. I so far dislike vista. It is harder for me to find everything and it is confusing. I have not had the computer that long so I am still learning. Looking back I hated Xp when it first came out also because I had to learn everything again. I guess I just don't like change lol.

Hi, right now I prefer Windows XP system, because it's faster, stable and friendly than Windows Vista system, but in the future Windows Vista tends to be better than Windows XP. Windows XP is a system from 2001, and we can find updates till today! For example, the SP3 for Windows XP was made available on April/2008, almost seven years after the first version. That way, in my oppinion Windows XP system still better than Windows Vista system, let's wait Windows Vista get the bugs corrected (like someone responded before) with some future updates.
Bye.

Of course I like Windows Vista to be the future system. Vista is the future operating system of Windows. But don't you know that Windows will be releasing a new kind of operating system? And that's Windows Surface. If you like to find out what's Windows Surface, go to youtube.com for trailers and sample videos. I'm sure you'll like it more...

We had a visitor from Australia a few months ago, who came to visit with his new computer, which had Vista installed. The guy had a lot of experience working with computers, but I have never heard anybody swear so much as John during the months he was here! I have never used Vista, as my computer has Windows XP, although I am dreaming of getting an Apple next time!
