How Can They Do This?

I watched my first and only episode last week. I wonder the same way about these people. I also realize that money can be a huge factor in motivation but, are they that greedy that they would hurt someone, or break someone's heart, to make that money? Money runs out. Then what are you left with when you don't have any friends or family, or a companion because you turned everyone away when they found out what a vile person you are? Ugh! No thanks! I will live happily with my family, friends and loved ones magnificently less rich with cash but wealthier with love!

I have watched this show over the winter and I am shocked. There is no amount of money out there that will make me hurt my loved one and have them not trust me. I would never go on , I am a nervous person as is , who knows what my readings will show. Oh , my the power of money sometimes. Scary how you can lose it all in one moment. On Moment of truth.

I can only determine that it is for shallow people who don't care about others. It's a horrible show.

I would go as far as the 10 grand too. I have a few things that I wouldn't like to share with the whole world let alone my extended family LOL I'm not silly enough to go on that show and risk it all just to get $25,000 and more!

Yes,for somebody money is really very important.I don't know how they think of,especially the one who have much more money.I think I won't do that in the future when I can earn much money.

this is a really messed up show. i agree with you why would anyone do this? i would never go on the show... why would anyone tell the whole world their secrets?

I asked the same thing in a discussion I started awhile back, seems like people don't care, they just want their 15 minutes of fame and they will say and do anything to get it.

No, I wouldn't go on there. I am like you I think some secrets should remain secret and I sure would not want to share it with the entire country if I ever did confess.

I think it is sick that people are willing to humiliate and hurt their families for money. I don't even like to have an argument in any kind of public place. I don't need or want other people to hear my business. I certainly wouldn't want my family to have to bear the pain that I would place on them by doing something like this show for all the world to see. Yeah, maybe some of these people needed to air out their feelings to their friends and family. Maybe they want to get caught. But why hurt them in front of millions of people? Greed and selfishness.

I have watched it several times,and it has caused alot of problems for some people.As for myself,their is noway!!! they can even keep the ten grand lol.

I have never seen the show, but i have seen the previews. I hate watching shows where people are humiliating not only themselves but friends and family to make money and that is what the previews showed. And yes some things should be kept private especially if it concerns someone else. If i went on the show (i cannot EVER seeing this happen) i would stay until it became embarrassing (probably the first question) then i would have to leave!

Not a chance! I've seen the commercials and nixed the idea of even watching it. Seeing people ruin their lives for money just doesn't interest me. I mean why? Do people not like their lives that much that they are willing to lose their relationships with the people they love? Do they love money more than their family? Looks to me that they do. That is so very, very sad.

I watched that show for the first time last night, and I must say that I was shocked! All I could think about as I watched it was that I could never do that, I keep too many secrets. One of my friends knows everything, but the rest of them know different bits and pieces.

I wouldn't last too long on that show. I can't hardly believe what people will reveal for money. Like they say "Money is the root of all evil". Some of them people will destroy people and relationships for money, not me. I wouldn't make much money on that show. I would not be willing to do that.

I do like watching the show but it makes me nervous. Some of those poor contestants. I have nothing to hide but wouldn't have any interest in being a part of the show. Don't like I'd like to admit personal things about my childhood. It wasn't bad just a little rocky! I could make it through the first round but would take the money and leave. That is, if I wasn't caught telling a big fib...lol

I wouldn't go on this show. And I won't watch it either. I don't want to encourage such idiocy. The TV folks don't know what to do with themselves these days.

Yeah, I think that show is stupid too. Theres no way I would go on there, and I don't know why those people go on there, the money I guess. But is money worth losing your marriage or relationship for? I wouldn't make it very far myself, I'd take the money and leave too.

Yeah, i saw commercials for the show your talking about. i had no interest because i found that the show centers around dark secrets that should only be shared in private. i find it to be a show of highly poor taste. i wouldn't make it far because im not a hurtful person, and if there is something that needs to be said, im not going to go on national television and shout it to the world. Especially if its something really dark and the other person doesn't want it known, think about how playing that game to win would ruin that persons reputation. and all for what? to win some money. its just not worth it. And i saw one commercial that this show is being called a hit...which means people like the show. I think that this shows a lot about the character of the people that regularly watch it. I cant imagine how people who got the losing end of the stick on the show must feel after that, their business and past and whatever else they didn't want exposed to everyone and their brother now all of a sudden is known and talked about across the nation. if i were in that kind of situation and my personal business were reveled on national TV, i would be mortified and i wouldn't want to leave my house...like...ever. this is the perfect example of a show that needs to be canceled. give me Jeopardy or Deal or no Deal any day of the week. those have much more character and are actually fun to watch. This kind of reminds me of some of the shows that were out in the ninety's with some of those extreme shows like "the chamber" "fear factor" and all those other short lived shows that were so stupid that no one cared to watch them and they just jumped the shark and got canceled. im going to say that this show is going to be no different and it will be canceled soon. Lets hope.

I heard about the show from a friend, however, I never watched it. You are right, money is a powerful thing. Personally, I would not go on the show! I totally agree with you, we all have secrets. I myself, would not reveal them to the world just for the almighty dollar! I think it depends on everyone's personal values.
