Have you ever been so tired that you didn’t care what time it was…you just went to bed? Yesterday was like that for us. Hubby had to go to the hospital for lab work at 930am, then back for his Dr. appt. at 120pm, we had to stop and get something to eat, pay insurance, take Morgana to the vet, get gas, go by the electric company, go to country mart, go to Walmarts, and then I had to go to the office manager and turn in papers. It was a long hectic day. I got home, put the groceries away, cooked a couple of quick pizza’s, ate a couple of slices and headed to bed. It was barely 830pm. It was still light outside…we were just so worn out and hurting that we didn’t care.
I slept till about 3am, got up for a couple hours and played on the net then went back to bed…Hubby got up around 5 and stayed up. I’m still taking a nap today too.
Have you ever been so tired that you didn’t care if it was too early to go to bed? Have you ever gone to bed for the night when it’s still daylight outside? Do you ever do so much running for the day that it just wears you right out?

It sounds like you and hubby had a very busy day,the pizza sounds good maybe I will do that tonight.I have gone to bed as early as 8pm which in my case was not a good idea since I was awake by 12am not wanting to sleep anymore and since I get up at 4:30am for work I was extra tired the next day so since then I try to at least stay up until 9:30 but sometimes I just have to go to bed at 9pm. You have a great evening.

If I have a heavy day I just crash out, it can be on the sofa or I go to bed! I dont worry what time it is If I need sleep it just happens. The earliest I have been to bed would have been around 5.30pm. I had visited my son in Bournmouth for the day and I was realy tired after driving there and back. We got home at 4.30pm, and I went up to bed within the hour. I sleeped untill 1am and got up and read a book for a while, I made coffee and I was awake for the day.

Ironic that you would ask this, it was this very condition that lost me the job I told you about a while ago. *Sigh* I will explain the position and other things about the job in a discussion, once I get acclimated to sleeping at night again, but long story short we would have a meeting at the beginning of third shift, and at the end. Two days ago, the same day as you speak of, I did nod out for a couple of seconds at the end of shift meeting. I was not used to working third shift, plus having problems with being kept up in the morning after work was weighing down on me. I tried my best to stay woke, but nothing was working. My head was bobbing throughout the whole twenty minutes. And so they let me go today. I will be alright. I wasn't made for third shift anyway. I love sleep!!!

I felt like that when I had to go to work, but then I had to turn around and go to work. Multiple part-time jobs can be like that, sometimes.
I've had days when I did a lot of running around, too. Take care.

All of that applies to me. I have even been so tired that I fell asleep watching a movie that I really wanted to see. And didn't realize I fell asleep until the next morning when I woke up confused because I couldn't remember falling asleep.

I have had at least two episodes like what you are talking about. Both times were when I had run out of my medicine that I have to take for restless leg syndrome. The two nights that this happened I had run out of my medicine. The first episode was on a weekend and there was no way I could get it until Monday morning. I had to wait until the doctor's office opened, call and get a new prescription and then wait until late that afternoon before I could go get it. We had an appointment in town and didn't want to make an extra trip and my husband was too scared for me to drive because I had lost sleep for two nights in a row due to not having the medicine I needed. When we got home from our appointment I took my medicine and was in bed before 8:00 p.m. I slept until about 11:00 p.m. told my kids to get in bed, told my husband good night and went right back to sleep and slept till morning.
The second episode was very similar. Since that point I have made sure to never run out of my medicine again.

I have weeks like that! there are times when I have even fallen asleep in the shower (standing up!) or at my computer and my partner has had to wake me up! lol. Then, I crawl into bed, get comfy, nap for like an hour, and have to get up again!
I have 4 young children, and between them, hubby and the housework, I definitely don't need to join a gym to keep fit!

I have been there since I got these shingles
since they keep me awake at night with pain'until
I take some advil or tylenol for it. then the
med makes my blood sugar drop so then I have
to get up and eat something. so I slept until
eleven this morning and am still sleeepy.

It happened to me a lot of times. My eyes seemed to have a mind of its own. During my senior years in college, the times when sleep is nothing more but an option, my eyes closes on their own!
My friends always made fun of me because we are the middle of a conversation and suddenly I take a nap.

I have a lot of trouble sleeping at night so if I go to bed when its light out it is usually because the sun has already come up. If I feel tired I sleep when I can because I always have trouble sleeping at night. I wish I could go to bed at 9 but I'm lucky if I can get to sleep by 3am.

That's the way I often get when I'm in a car for very long.. Long distance driving? Forget it!

I do that sometimes too. I try not to, because I usually only sleep for a two or three hours and am back up for about half the night, unable to get back to sleep though. Still, if I am too tired to stay awake, I figure that it must be time to go to bed!

Been there, done that. Sometimes I think stress plays a part in getting tired early. I know my husband is that way sometimes. I occasionally feel that way too and I have to force myself to stay up until the time when I usually go to bed.

Nearly every weekend is like this for me, twoey because I work on Sat. nite/sun. morning. I don't get home till round 6 or 7am and I'm either overtired to where I can't sleep or I'm too tired that I crash immediately. Either way, my Sundays are always ruined in which I can't do much of anything. This is why I can't help my mom as much as I want, per your other discussion.

I know that you needed to rest from a hard day at work. By the time you read this it will be last. It already says that this was posted 22 hours ago. So I know that you should have gotten rest by now. Next time get sleep before work. Have a nice day.
