Do you believe that a dream can be a warning or premonition?

My little nephew will be visiting soon and I have a big pool. I have had three diferrent people tell me they have had a dream about him drowing. I talked to someone today who claims she is a spiritual healer and told me she had a bad feeling about this too and that I should consider these as signs of a warning. Anyone out there have an opinion? I am a christain and I usually don't believe in this sort of thing but I am worried now!

Yes they can be Warnings of something good and bad at times also they are Premonitions coz it happened quite a lot of times for me. By the way I'v heard and researched that One shud not discuss bad dreams to anyone, and shud discuss good dreams to ppl whom they believe will be happy for them (in front and at the back of them). Dont panic and dont do repetitive recollecting of dreams.

I would certainly take heed of it but I don't really think it means anything. I am surprised you weren't the one w/ the dreams. The fact it was others would definitely freak me out somewhat but just be careful.I suppose I have mixed opinions on this one. Stay safe

I have had dreams about getting attacked by demons and the only way I and my friends got free were to yell "I belong to Jesus not you." I was told it has meaning, but what I need to figure out.
I think serious dreams can have warnings and deep meanings so I tend to not take them lighly. I mean a dream about my dad walking home as a hoagie doesn't mean too much lol. I would take heed to what has been said keep an eye on his around the pool.

The dream you describe has a lot of meaning. I used to have one very similar too. I guess it's the fight of good and evil within us all. I believe that demons fear God and Jesus has more power over them. We are taking all precautions around the house and pool. He get's in tomorrow.

I believe it is just a coincidence when someone has a dream that ends up coming true. That said, I tend to dream about things I'm anxious about.
I guess it's always good advice to be very vigilant with young children and pools. Even if these dreams mean nothing, it doesn't hurt to be extra careful. A child who isn't around pools much, may be fascinated with them. It's important to make sure you(or another adult)wakes up before he does, so that he doesn't go exploring by himself no matter how secure the pool is. Kids are ingenious at getting into things.

i would take precautions.. I would keep a very close eye on him when he comes over and don't let him leave where ever your at! It sounds weird but i do think ( if you belive in them) that dreams are premonitions.. i've had severl that came true. (if you would like to know about them i would be glad to tell you)

Oddly enough I have had dreams that later happened for real.

Please what ever you do heed the warnings. Dreams can be premonitions and if you dont listen to them they can happen exactily as it does in the dream. I admit at time they could just be a fear that forms in a dream, but with more than 1 person having the same dream, I would keep him as far wawy from anypool as possible. Also be careful with the tub too, the pool could just be 1 way remember a child can drown in an inch of water. So keep him away from any pool of water as much as possible and all will be fine.
