Aren't you annoyed when someone is late for the movie and taking their own sweet time settling down? Distractions like someone else's cellphones ringing or the light of their phones irritate me, especially if the movie is at its climax! But I'll pass with that, most annoying thing is when someone came in late and taking their own sweet time to find their seats and settled down. I'll try my best not to be late for movies, unfortunately my friends don't seem to see my point. They thought it's ok to be late..

I have a habit of being everywhere at least 15 minutes before i have to. Which means I'm not late going anywhere. I hate being late. I don't like being kept waiting therefore I do my best to make sure no one has to wait on me. I will not be late, unless unforseeable things happen to keep me from being there on time. Like having a flat time breaking down, or just being kept from getting there on time. In a theater it is frustrating to have others interupting the movie. This is why I am so glad we now have a drive in movie relatively close to go to. People talk too much in a walk in movie and it never fails it's when something good is happening.

Hey there moondancer! O.o A drive-in movie! Never seen that or been there before.. hehe it must be interesting! It's a very good habit of arriving 15 minutes earlier, I used to do that, but was VERY irritated when most of the time I had to wait even longer for those whom I knew will be late. I'm not a patient person, lol!

Drive in movies are great. You use your car or truck of course. As many as you want can go. Children under a certain age get in free. I belive it's 8 or 10. The others pay five dollars each. If you take a pick up truck then you can turn you truck around and use the back with blankets, lounge chairs etc. You are not suppose to take things to eat and drink, they want you to buy from the stand. But most people take a cooler with stuff to drink in it. And we take sandwiches or Kentucky Fried Chicken to eat. And of courese all the junk food chips, candy, etc. We do buy the popcorn there. Nothing is better than getting good fresh popped pop corn with butter on it at the movies. We hear the sound through our own radio, so the quality is as good as you car stereo. Mine is great I have surround sound. They play 2 movies, it starts at dusk and ends when both movies have played. It's great I love it. No one to disturb you while you watch a movie. They have restrooms in the snack building so all of your needs are met. If you get a chance to go to one, try it out.

That's interesting! Thanks for sharing! I don't know if I had one here though haha I will make sure to check with my other uncle who is in US whether is there any drive-in theatre near his place so I could go if I visit him hehe. You mentioned 2 movies.. for $5?! That's cheap~ You couldn't even watch a movie here (after conversion)! I could imagine myself lying in the car munching chips, with people who are the only ones I want to be with.. pure enjoyment lol!

Yes, what you have mentioned is very annoying! I once went to a movie where this guy's phone not only rang, but he answered it and carried on a conversation for several minutes! How stupid and inconsiderate was that? I know the theater was mostly empty, but come on! Well, I can see why no one ever went to that theater and it actually closed down recently.

It's still inconsiderate even if there's one person with them in the theatre.. but well, these people never think.. lol

Don't know about the rest but most theatres now adays has like 12 screens so when you go the people are spread out into different shows playing, not like they all pile into one room. There was maybe 25 people in the theatre we was in and they was spaced out. lot of room to sit, in came 2 very small women with 2 men that was about 6'3 or taller and where with all the empty rows did they sit, right in front of me and my daughter, all I could see was the man back, when we got up to move over a few seats so we could see, he seemed to be insulted that we would get up and move. I wanted to say, hey look at all the rows with no one in them, why infront of me.
