Nothing but Mars Bars for 17 years!

A dozen of these, A DAY - I was shocked after reading a story about a man that eats nothing but mars bars every single day. And has done for 17 years.

The link to the story I have read and taken my discussion from is:- http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/weird/article1233465.ece Now, how does this fella manage to eat so many mars bars, they are totally sickening after just one. I could not imagine eating a dozen of them a day instead of meals!Believe it or not he has done this for 17 years, get that! I could not eat them all day long like I would just be sick. I would get bored of just eating the same thing like that day in day out for all those years. What do you think, is he for real or what? Would you want to be like him? If you could eat one food day in day out what would it be?

OMG, that is unbelievable, I am surprised he has any teeth left, he would also be bouncing around all day from all the caffeine. It would be very sickening to eat that many Mars Bars a day, I definately couldn't do that. If I could eat one food day in day out it would be Mangoes, yummmmmmmm. I love mangoes, they are fresh, tasty and delicious plus they are good for you.

Never had a mango, OMG, it is better then chocolate, I love them. If you ever come to Australia you have to taste one, you will love it. They are only around for a few months of the year though, sadly, from about November - January.

I know, it is daft to think of someone just eating one thing all day long. I have never had a mango!

That is crazy!! I would think he would have developed diabetes by now. Look at him though, isn't he bald? How much nutrition could he be getting from that? It is totally processed food and the body was never made for that. So I guess that makes him a vegetarian sorta. I mean he doesn't eat meat, but then again he's not eating fruits and vegetables either. What a weirdo. :D

I would have thought it would have made him ill, the only good thing I can think of is that he would not cost much to feed.

Ekkk---what is the guy nuts? He eats about 4,000 bars a year I read in that article--talk about a junk food junkie... I would get so bored of eating the same of ANYTHING all the time..how the heck does he get good protein in his diet? And it's a wonder he's not a major walking pimple/acne case..LOL as for what one food I would want to eat day in and day out...none..like I said I like variety in my diet

Well, he knows what he likes. It reminds me of a toddler on a food jag. You know the kid who will eat nothing but organge foods or somehting like that. It's not for me,but I guess if he's healthy so what.

It's a well known scientific fact that a lot of guys are seriously weird.......... I can readily imagine a guy doing this. I love Mars bars and any other sort of chocolate bar too. My conscience simply wouldn't allow me to eat them like that though. He is lucky he doesn't have a big belly and bum, zits and rotten teeth.

There is no way that I could eat that much sweets every day of the week. That would make me sick to my stomach and make my belly hurt. I could probably eat taco salad ot tacos every day though. I love Mexican food. I don't think I will ever get bored of that. I would not want to be like that guy though. I like variety sometimes.

I couldn't do that with a candy bar but maybe with pizza LOL I can't imagine living on chocolate bars but looking at the picture...he certainly looks healthy enough so as long as it's not hurting him, more power to him. ~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG AND TRUST IN GOD**

WTF? Some people are just insane. The amount of health issues that he must have as a result of his restricted diet. I doubt he would have needed to eat them for 17 years to get in The Sun, if he ate them for the year he could have managed it. I think he could probably get in the Guinness Book of Records too with 17 years of Mars Bars. I am not a fan of Mars Bars, so this is just disgusting to me.

Oh my gosh !! I would get sick of that. Talk about a sugar rush . I get tired of the same food pretty fast , so I could never do a thing like that. Maybe, I could and have had a sub for lunch everyday for a week . I wonder why he isnt big from all that candy . Just hmm . some people lol.

A long a good Mars bar but one is enough. At one time they did Mars Bar Ice Cream here it was great. I don't know how anyone could eat just them and nothing else. I once knew a girl who ate McDonalds most meals but she at least picked different menu items.

Well im very surprised with this news. Because if we eat nothing but mars bars for 17 years, than we will turn ourselves in to mars bars. That means everyday you are constantly getting the same stuff, with no proteins or vitamins. Your body might adapt to it or might not. If this story is true im very amazed. Because it is amazing how he could have survived the 17 years. And i think if he eats anything else now it wont even be digested.

wowww... that is amazing... i don't know how does he managed to do that... it is insane, i think... it is very unhealthy and i bet he does not have enough nutrients in his body because he is only eating chocolates... and too much chocolates are not good for the body as well... i can't believe the extent that people will go just to get recognised... it is weird... take care and have a nice day...

I am surprised he is not diabetic after eating all of that sugar or have some kind of condition because of eating too much chocolate. I couldn't do that. I don't even like mars bars - sounds really absurd but looks real enough.

Oh no I couldn't imagine that for one moment, as you know I haven't a sweet tooth and very rarely eat chocolate so to eat Mars bars all day long sound repulsive to me. I believe variety is the spice of life as they say and everything in moderation and that goes for my food intake so I couldn't imagine eating just one food either but I suppose if I had to it would be bowls of cereal with chopped fruit as at least that is a fairly healthy option. Ellie :D

I really think this is a man after my own heart here!!as ive told you before i have no problem with eating Mars bars and although yes they are sickly to many they arent to me!!I coul eat three on the trot easily and not feel anything.Hubby loves them too and he could eat at least two!!but there are Mars bars and mars bars and there are some that arent the same, the toffee s too soft and the whole thing isnt quite right, the only thing that i can think of is that they are bars that have come from abroad as sometimes the chocolate is a wee bit different ...but I like the ones that have firm toffee and firm nougat and put them into the fridge and they atre to die for!!!
