Do you sweep your kitchen floor daily?

I have NEVER swept my kitchen floor since the day I moved into this house 6 years ago now you say why would you do that? Because it is carpet! I have to use the vaccuum cleaner on it! I don't have any tile floors my house is wall to wall carpte. I HATE carpet in the kitchen too it is such a hassle to clean a mess up.

I have to sweep everyday. I have way too many pairs of feet running through my house not to. If I miss a day my floor looks like I missed a week. At least it does to me my kids say I'm overreacting and that it doesn't look that bad. I think they may just be trying to get out of helping. Hee hee.

I have a few animals and kids and really should sweep everyday but i dont. I try to keep it fairly clean though.

I do. I am very crazy about sweeping..LOL! I want to make it always free from any dirt or dust! I got this attitude from my mother and I am also thankful!

Not as much as I should. If I did,I have a feeling that is all I would do. I sweep 3 times a week. And then I run the vacuum over it once a week. My dog is a short hair, but still sheds alot.Sometimes my hubby picks up the slack.

With just me and the dogs, the floor doesn't get dirty often. If I swept everyday, I'd get nothing. I usually do it once a week and even then there's very little dirt and debris. My dogs make sure that any food that makes its way to the floor also makes its way to their bellies!

I don't sweep the kitchen every day, but I never feel like it needs to be swept every day. I don't really have a routine for it, but I just take out the broom and sweep whenever it seems to me like it needs it. It actually stays pretty clean most of the time, but it tends to need swept more when I bake things, cause I sometimes spill flour or sugar.

No, i only swept our floor if i saw dirty and some things that can destruct my attention. i live alone so nothing will make my kitchen crowded and no unwanted things will be in the floor because i am careful that no dirty things will go into my kitchen floor.

LOL! No! And, here is why...I have 3 cats and a huge dog. As soon as I would sweep, I would have to start sweeping again to keep up with the hair. LOL! I seriously just don't have that kind of time or energy! I should! But, I really do have better things to do with my time every day than to worry about sweeping my floors. But, if you want, you can come over and sweep my floors for me everyday! LOL!

I sweep my house everyday or use the little battery powered broom/vacuum every day. Even if i haven't cooked it seems that things get tracked into the house.

Oh yes, Mine gets really dirty everyday. The door that we use to come into the house several times a day is in the kitchen. The dog goes in and out that door too, and dirt and leaves always come in and are all over the floor. Not to mention my son dropping a little bit of all the food he eats all day! There's always peices of shredded cheese on the floor, cereal, sugar, ...oh, and dog food! I think I sweep it more than once a day!

No not everyday but every few days, the kitchen does not really get dirty.

Yes because the Kitchen is the place where there is regular activity.We need to keep the place neat as this is where cooking is done.Also peeling of vegetables and other activities prior to cooking leads to littering of the place.Hence it becomes necessary to clean up the kitchen daily.

Oh, i'm really lazy when it comes to sweeping because i have a bad back and i don't want to bend down to pick the stuff up.. i usually just sweep it all in the corner for a week and then pick it up haha.

I like my kitchen to be very clean I end up sweeping the floor nearly twice a day after pre[aring the lunch & dinner.I feel if the kitchen is clean then there wont be insects crawling all over the place.

No, bad I use vacumcleaner every second day. But I guess, I really should sweep my kitchen floor every day. In this time of year there are tons of fly´s and they do really envying me. I am not really use to them, but since I did move out to the country I have to get use to them. Me and my son goes on a smashing fly´s tour every evening, and compete on who smashing most fly´s.

i dont sweep daily but a couple times a week and mop weekly

We cant enter our kitchen if we dont sweep it. It gets so dirty so we sweep it everyday and if it is worse, we mop it up

Hey cream, My in laws are the same way with cleaning . You should see the build of they have over there. Anyway, yes i do sweep my floor daily .

i don't usually sweep floors daily, only when i noticed that it's dirty. maybe once a week. we're all grown ups in our house and shoes are not allowed inside, they are removed and stored in a shoe area in our house so dirt from outside is not brought inside. but if i get my own place, i think i would definitely sweep my entire house almost every day especially the kitchen because i will be doing the cooking and i'm expecting it to be very messy.
