Which do you prefer? I'm not a hot tea drinker but iced tea with lemon is my favorite. Go ahead, brew some up and get back to me.

iced tea - iced tea with lemon
I prefer iced tea with lemon.Iced tea, also known as ice tea, is a form of cold tea, often served in a glass over ice. It may or may not be sweetened. Iced tea is also a popular packaged drink. It can be mixed with flavored syrup, with common flavors including lemon, peach, raspberry, lime, and cherry.

I am a bit picky when come to tea and I feel I could only get the original real taste of tea when it is served hot. I prefer to take hot tea and doesn’t during hot day or cold day. I like all kinds of hot green tea. I like hot green tea with ginger added. It is unique and tastes wonderful with the spicy ginger in it.

No offense to the south but when I went there the first thing they offered was sweet tea, then it was Dr. Pepper and then it was sweet Dr. Pepper. Too much sugar!

I prefer iced tea no matter what the weather. I will very rarely drink hot tea. I like my iced tea to be sweetened with no lemon. It can be sweetened with sugar or Splenda. I like it both ways, but drink it with Splenda more often because it has no calories.

I'm an iced tea person myself. I like it with Sweet N Low, I call em pink tickets. Put in a little shot of lemon juice and I'm good to go.

I drink iced tea sometimes in the summer, but I usually find most of the ready-made ones much too sweet and sickly. To be honest I'd much rather have a nice hot cup of black or green tea. Especially because most of the time it's cold here, and tea is great for warming me up. I also love (hot) chai tea latte from Starbucks, and hot liquorice or ginger teas. Yum!

Before I started this convo I'd never tried chai tea from anywhere, but now I love it. I like it from Starbucks but if you have a Panera close, give them a try, with Starbucks it tastes different. Panera's is sweet with a hint of cinnamon.

Interesting. I'm glad you love chai tea now, especially as it's a result of this discussion! I've never heard of a panera, so I guess we don't have them here. I'll look out for it though if I'm ever on my travels. :)

Same here, I prefer ice tea with lemon or calamansi. Sometimes I drink hot tea since it healing power is more effective if its hot but the taste are sometimes bitter I think it depend on how the tea was prepared. The only thing I don't like with tea whether hot or cold is that it makes your teeth yellowish even with the effort of brushing your teeth more often.

hi gitfiddleplayer. I prefer hot or warm tea. I don't like iced tea. My throat doesn't like it too;). I have noticed, that when I drink iced drinks when it's hot outside, it makes me feel even more hot. So I drink warm tea and water (not iced of course). have a nice day, jazgottt.

There's something to that jazgottt, warm tea in the summer actually quenches your thirst faster than cold water.

I'd prefer hot tea, it has more soothing effect for me especially when you're tired. It controls easily body temperature and it helps to loosened some fats beter than cold one.

That depends on the weather and my appetite. I enjoy the hot Puer tea (a kind of Chinese black tea) when I am full. It makes me feel more comfortable. Besides, it helps to lose weight which makes this tea quite popular in China now. While the weather is hot, iced tea with lemon is my favorite too

Hi There, I think I am the exact opposite. I really do not like any type of iced tea or cold tea. I am really not a big tea drinker at all to be honest but I do prefer it heated. If I had to pick a type of tea it would be green tea. It helps keep the pounds off too, which is even better. :) cheers,

I like both it really depends. If I am having tea with a meal (besides breakfast) then typically it will be cold. At other times it depends on mood and the temperature.

I was brought up drinking both hot tea and iced tea. I drink hot tea mostly in the winter. But, iced tea is a staple around here, all year round. I guess we use a gallon every two days. I also love lemon in my iced tea.
