What is more important in life, Respect or Love?

love and respect goes along with each other if it really comes from the heart.when you love a person,respect follows..

i will go for love.. love covers everythin, including respect. no definition of love that is definite. even respect is under Love in itself. love is the main reason of everything...respect and love can co-exist. when there is love, there is respect. but you could respect without loing.. love, love!

Nice first post. Welcome! I find difficult to answer this question. In my own experience. I can define love as living without that thing. For example, I cant live without my partner. That is love. I feel sad whenever her sad, I want to feel her better if she is in tears, I want her to be happy always. I will do anything for her to be happy because I love her. That is my own definition of love. But RESPECT comes after or follows LOVE, for me. If you love a person, you will respect her. Respect is when you dont want someone feel bad on you. So you will do necessary things not to hurt her, and that is respect. But Respect may come even without love. We respect someone who is an ideal person to us. We respect our leaders, team members, etc. And there is no love on it. So above the two, LOVE is more important. For love, everything will follow including respect. Thanks

Respect and love both comes from the heart. If you love somebody, automatically respect come from your heart for him/her. Respect and love, both co-exist, I don't think so if it is a valid question you have asked?

i think both are needed. it is really necessary to have respect fopr the person you love. also anothe rimportant factor is the trust. wiothout it, no relationship can fulfill.

How can you love someone if you don't respect them, I think any relationship there has to be respect or it can't work, if one is trying to love the person and the other shows them no respect then he don't love them in my opinion. It isn't much of a relationship, one sided I believe. Respect and love has to go hand in hand or there is no relationship.

For me, it's not simply respect or love. It's a combination. Respect is a part of love, i can't imagine somebody can really love someone without respect.

For me, when you say you respect a person, then you really love him/her. Love is not enough, because sometimes it can be selfish, and as a result, you lose your respect to your partner; making them feel harder to breathe.

Love, and with love also comes respect.

Love and respect are symbiotic in nature. If you love some one then you will definitely love the person. On the other hand, if you respect some person, then automatically love will develop for him/her in your mind. So, love and respect always co-exist. When i love someone, i also respect her/him. If i couldnot respect her/him, i have no love. So respecting is a part of loving!
