As you know,I dropped out of university,so I don't have a degree. For quite a long time I was really depressed,I didn't want to face the reality, didn't want to work in a company. So I thought maybe I could be a freelance.I was just scared to take the first step to get into the society. So I spent most of my time mylotting to give me an excuse not to work. But being alone was just really terrible,I didn't have someone to talk to,just all by myself.Sometimes I felt like I've lost the skill of chatting.
I was really depressed sometimes, even thought of suicide, although I know I never have the courage to commit it.Disappointed at myself,I just sent my resume to a company, never expected that they would employ me.I was took by surprise when they called me for an interview.I didn't expect it was that easy!
I can say I like my job now,it's new for me,I have a lot to learn.

Nice to hear you got a job now. Having a degree just makes people one step ahead in a ladder but in reality its how you plan your steps. You may never tell what the future holds for you but you are the only person who can mold your future. So dont be afraid. I use to be like you but I plan three steps ahead of that ladder. Look around you use what resources you have. Most people bloom by simple ideas and small resources. Who knows? maybe that job of yours is your key. Just be creative and smart.

Hi gxnfly! I guess, sometimes the fear of the unknown is what hinders us from taking the first step to our dream, our goal. We sometimes fear being rejected even before we ever try. And I am glad you have overcome that and took the first step. I am so happy for you and I am wishing you more strength and courage as you reach for your dreams.
Take care and God bless!

i took up computer engineering but unfortunately on my last semester in school, i flank in one of my six remaining subjects. i was begging for my instructor to give me a passing grade since its my last semester but he never really felt so pity with my situation. i didnt make it to the graduation ceremony but it never stop me from getting a job. i applied for a job and luckily even got hired immediately compared to my friends who made it to the graduation ceremony. im connected in a private company now and my first job really helped me a lot in achieving where am i today. during that very sad experience in my life, my friend adviced me to keep on moving coz life doesnt stop where we fall. its only the beginning for us to stand up again and make a new move.

Wow! That's cool gxnfly! Sometimes, we are scared of nothing..LOL, Our imagination exaggerate things which help us lose our self-confidence but, if we will just think wide, there are many people all over the world who has no diploma yet succeeded in life. IT takes to try and take a risk in this life. Cheers!

Good for u ^_^ hehe.. WIthout a degree is no big deal.. The difference is only your salary.. hehe ^_^ And also, some companies only employ ple with degrees while some employ ple with experiences instead.. IN a job, they require some qualifications is because they wanna prove that u can really communicate and speak well.. And thus, most companies will ask for degree holders, when in fact, it doesn't really matter much as long as u can talk.. haha ^_^
Congrats on u getting the job!! hehe

It doesnt matter.Sometime i even thought that if i didn't study in the unversiry ,i would be better. After so many years studying in the school ,i find i'm stupider and lost the ability to search and invent new things.Just believe yourself !
