Today my dentist had a special event going on. You could get a cleaning, extraction, or a filling for free. One day only. I got there at 7:30 this morning and didn't get in until 1:00 this afternoon. That is the longest I have ever waited for something. but I didn't mind for simple fact that I didn't have much to do today, and IT WAS FREE. I had to have a filling, normally it would have cost me $180. Some people were complaining because of having to wait for so long. But hello....I saved $180 on some dental work. So whats the longest you ever had to wait for something??? Was it a good deal you waited on?? Did you get frustrated???

i waited in line at the Empire State Building for two to three hours. It was neat to see the view, but I'm not sure waiting that long was really worth it. It was very tiring. I've probably waited longer, but I cant think of any other times right now.

Actually, I thought of another time. I once waited almost all day for an Amtrak train. I had gone to a teacher fair in South Carolina. It was in the morning. The train was supposed to leave at 5pm. I got to the station about 11am and waited around all day. To add insult to injury the train was late and did not arrive until about 10pm.

I waited overnight one time. I was in college and I studied a year in Heidelberg Germany. The university had this program for its foreign students where you could go on an educational trip for a really low price. They did this 3 day trip to Berlin for $60 German marks, about $40 at the time. So a bunch of us, not wanting to miss out, because the sign ups were first come, first served, camped out all night to get on the list. We even brought food and blankets! And it was well worth it!

I was going to a doctor that it was not unusual to have to wait to see him for three to four hours. I always brought a book with me but that was not the point. I could understand this happening once in a while but not all the time. So I found myself another doctor who I got into see when I was scheduled to. Even with me having a book to read it still did frustrate me.

At my regular doctor I don't have to wait more than fifteen minutes. it does frustrate me to. a book does help to pass the time. thank you for commenting.

at the bank. i feel so annoyed and disappointed when one time i tried to withdraw some cash from my account. i withdraw on their other branch of the city. aside from the very long time of waiting for the confirmation from the branch where i opened my account, i felt so dismayed that they don't confirmed it. i was so frustrated and decided to open an account on another bank and never transact with them anymore.

I once waited in line for more than six hours just to see a foreign celebrity! It was a bit frustrating, especially when people are trying to cut in the line. What's worse, you can't pee, you can't eat, otherwise you lose your spot in the line. =) But of course, seeing a celebrity, touching them, getting their autographs and exchanging smiles is worth it all. When they said the words, "thank you," it's more than enough!

I am not big on waiting, the longest I have ever waited for a doctor was probably an hour and a half, and I was not happy. I have waited about 4 hours for an airplane one time. For free dental work though I think I would have waited and been grateful for the free work.

Probably the longest I've ever waited for something was to ride a rollercoaster. Some being an hour or 2. In my mind it was worth it even though it only last a few minutes!
