Sounds like a plan to me... also the other person's idea to write about your life - definitely worth thinking about - even if you use it as a base idea and go from there - either into fiction, using your life to draw from OR, using your experiences to write factual articles. I do enjoy writing (could you tell? LOL), I just need something to write about. I'm hoping to find a few small assignments that will help me figure out what genre I really want to pursue.

write about your life, seems u have had an interesting one. i did hair for 45 years so that wasn't too exciting but i liked it. had to quit 3 years ago because of health issues. i still miss the prople[some of them lol]

Thank you, what a sweet thing to say. I just threw that together this morning in mere minutes, so we'll see where it takes me. As I find good road maps for this journey, I am going to update the blog and share the information with others. A lot of it may already have been learned by the more seasoned journalists, but if I can help someone else heading down the same road as I, then all the better.
