What would you do if you won $1 million in a lottery? $100 million?

One of the many things I've always been most curious about is how people would use tons of extra cash if they had it. So please, answer HONESTLY, without just saying you would "give it to charity" to make you look good.
There are so many tons of things I would do... the first and foremost probably is create a website I've had in mind for a couple months, then start up this business my friend and I have been dreaming up for a couple years now. Then I might donate a bunch to my school's band program (because they're amazing).
If I had enough, I would (as foolish as it sounds) build my own amusement park to my own specifications with roller coasters that I design. Man, that would be amazing...

I will have a lot things to do if I have 100 dollars.Er,firstly,I have to make a plan of how to use it.Then I will make a list on which there are things I want to have in my life. And I will consult my mum if these things are really necessary for me.As a girl, the first exciting thing is go shopping.I would like to buy as many clothes as possible at one time.Haha~~

If I won the lottery I would buy myself my first home. Start my own business. A store called "Local Artists" where I could sell my books and allow other local artists to sell their products.
I have two grown daughters. I would help my oldest daughter and her husband buy a home. And help him start the amusement game business he wants to have.
My youngest daughter and her financee. I would help them buy a home and help them start a dog grooming business.
I would sit down with my parents and see if they want to stay in the mobile home park they are living right now. If so I would see what their money situation is. If they owe anything, pay it off etc. So they will be set and not have to worry anymore during their retirement. I would give my church enough money tp buy the building they are renting right now. I would give both of my sisters $300,000 to set themselves up with.

your son-in-law could help me with my amusement park!
Very cool idea about the store too. There are a couple of those around where I live, they usually have pretty cool stuff.

I will be thrilled even if I only won just $1 million, let alone the $100 million. I would definitely pay off my mortgage and upgrade to a bigger house. I also want to donate 25% to charities because I have a heart to help much unfortunate people. I think I would invest the rest of it for buying properties and shares.

To be totally honest, if me or my husband should win this sum of money we truly know what we would do. We would pay off all our credit cards and house payment, give some money to our church, buy my husband a new truck and then put the rest into savings in case of an emergency.

Firts of all I would by myself an apartment in the town I live in now, a car and some more stuff I really nead. Than I would take care of my parents and I would buy a house neer them and make several apartments out of it to rent them during the summer, that way my investment would payout itself and I will leave that business to my parents to take care of it so that they can make some money.
I would go for a very long vacation and I'd visit all the places I ever wanted like London, Paris, Dublin, Sydney...
About the charity, I don't believe in organizations because even in great organizations like UNICEF the kids get very little percent of money that is donated. People who are working for the organization, president of the organization and everyone else they all get they monthly paycheck and those paychecks ae not small. So I would try to do something for the kids, I would go and buy them stuff and food or I'd pay for 1000000 rations of wather.

i agree with your thoughts about charities, that's why whenever my school does something for charity we actually collect the material possessions to give to the charity.

If I won a lot of money, I would buy a home and then a motor home. Since I'm an ex truck driver I miss driving up and down the highways. Then I would put money in trusts for my grandchildren.the rest would probably have to go for fuel for the motor home.lol

Of course I wouldn't give it all to charity. Just a portion.
Hmm, 1 million might be small. I wouldn't retire then. But 100 million dollars is big enough for me. I would retire and concentrate on investing the money.

If I won a million in a lottery I would pay a house for my son
'and me, and a big backyard with lots of floweres and trees
then I would buy my son a new car so he can get to work
easier, then pay the rent here ahead for several months.
Then probabluy I would divide the money equally between me
and my son. we would have money in both our checking accounts
and our savings account.then I would start a business that
I could run by myself if necessary. the rest stays in the
bank for now.

I would pay off this house , that is the first thing i would do. Then, travel some . Prob stay in New York City for awhile , see lots of Mets games.
Help out my loved ones . Get my friend from Ghana over here to America. Have a nice big wedding , buy many clothes, and yes I would give some to the needy , and some hospitals.
I would do what makes me happy, and I think that would be see the world and help people.

1 million or 100 millions, I would invest them to double the money. Indeed, what can be better than having some money? Having more money! Now that sounds greedy, I know, but I guess that's the way I am, heheh.

First and foremost my family would never have to want for anything again.then a few of my friends would get some,I would invest a large sum of it and I would pay for my four grandchildren to go to college, then if there was some left I would donate it to some good charity that actually helps people without charging them.Oh yeah by the way the amusement park is a great ideal. You have a good night.

If won $1 million dollars. I would put some of the money into my college fund and save the rest until i really needed it.
If i won $100 million dollars, i would donate $40 million to Somalia because the majority of the population there is starving and their country is undeveloped and poor, it would really help them out and set them back on their feet.

First thing is i would most probably faint or go bonkers after knowing about getting a million dollars through a lottery. now we just cant imagine we will get so rich in one day right. As far as my opinion goes i actually don't believe in lottery and stuff because i believe i have the worst luck possible :D
So coming to the topic, i have always had this strong determination to contribute a little bit what i have to the poor and to the one who is in need. So if i get lucky enough to win a lottery of a million dollars i would save how much i need and definatly give the rest to the poor and orphans. I would say at least 20 to 30 % would go ..I am not so generous i guess :D

IF I won the lottery, after I tithed to my church and helped my family, I would move. My daughter and I want very much to move out from under my family. I would find a nice place with room for horses for my little girl. I would probably home school my daughter as well. My daughter and I would take some great vacations because I have never been able to take her anywhere fun.
