The fav5 is actually a GREAT plan as long as you have 5 people you talk to a lot and they don't have tmobile. It's a way of getting free minutes the way that I see it. For example, I have 5 people I can talk to unlimited land line or cell phone numbers, then minutes for everyone else, then you have free nights and weekends. You also have the option of getting free mobile to mobile for $7 a month. That way you can talk to anyone with tmobile for free unlimited. So i guess it depends on your calling habits as far as how many different people you call. But when you weigh the regular plan to myfaves when you look at minutes myfaves is the way to go.

I use verizon and have for about 6 years. They have great coverage area, and I rarely drop a call. My daughter did sign up with Tmobile last year, but she lost her phone the first month and hasn't had a job since so she just lost out there.

I have had T Mobile cell phone service for many years, I wouldn't think of switching neither. As for there Fav 5 plan I don't have an opinion. I have had pre pay service with them for many years and I am happy. I don't use my cell that much, so I don't want or need a plan or a bill each month. I think T Mobile has the best pre pay plan there is. Once you spend $100 with them you get gold rewards. your minutes don't expire for a year. Great deal. I live in Ohio and have used my phone in Cal. and Florida with good reception, no problems.

It can cost less to have regular plan and add unlimited t-mobile to t-mobile... I gave standard 1000 plus free nights and weekends... Most of my friends have t-mobile anyway, so unlimited calls are helping a lot...

I honestly have never had T-mobile,but I have heard a lot of good things about it,and think that it would be a good deal,I have had Sprint and I would strongly advise against anyone getting Sprint because I used to have Sprint and I never had signal,I currently have Altel and I am very happy with it because I always have signal, but if I were to switch it,which I highly doubt I would ever do,I would probabily consider T-mobile, because compared to Altel I think it is the next best cell phone company.

I don't know where you live but I have t-mobile too... I like it... I have their blackberry 8120... I would suggest to go on their web-site & check out their coverage map... Most of the cell. phone web-sites will let you put your address in & see how the coverage is around your area... You can check at least 3 different places, where you live, where you work, and where you hang out when you're not working... I have their unlimited plan so pretty much everything I have is unlimited, voice calls & any type of messaging except for e-mails... Only thing I had to add on to it was blackberry plan with was $20 bucks on top of the price of the plan... It allows me to access unlimited internet & access my personal emails... Another thing I would suggest is if you have wireless router, check into their "hotspot@home" add on option for $10 per month... It allows you to have unlimited voice calls when hooked up with wifi... Not all phones with wifi capabilities will do this but most will... And that's ANY open wireless access... If you goto public library & can link to their server using wifi, then all the calls while you're linked to their server is free... It's not for everybody but it works great for me...
