Can you sleep in hot weather?

It's really difficult to sleep during hot weathers, most especially if it's humid and even the air is hot. Whew. But if I have no choice, I'd take a very cold bath (When I mean cold, I mean COLD! I could even bathe in ice!) It may sound crazy but it truly alleviates the hotness of the day and after the bath, I'd feel much much cooler. But if it's morning still and it's hot, I usually just go to the mall to keep cool. Or go to the coolest part of the house and stay there for a while. =) What do you do when it's so hot and you want to sleep?

It is next to impossible for me to sleep in the hot weather. I remember last year our air conditioner decided to quit working in the middle of summer (go figure!) and it was over the weekend so the repairman wasnt going to be able to make it until Monday. Trying to sleep with just the ceiling fan and a box fan just wasnt enough for us. It was still so hot and sticky and could not fall asleep for the life of me!

I do find it hard to sleep when it's too hot out.....even though I sleep with a fan. When the weather is too hot I have to turn on the air conditioning and that does help with the sleep factor.

Hi There, I totally cannot sleep when it is hot. I will toss and turn all night long. I always put my AC and fan on though so I dont really have to worry about it. Even in the winter I keep the fan on so I am a bit strange that way. cheers,

Definitely not, I prefer taking some bath or shower after I go to sleep. We have a hot climate here in our country and it gives me a headache. I can't sleep well during the night even I turn on the fan. I prefer eating cold water before sleeping after a shower so I can sleep well. I don't use blanket too, I prefer wearing silk or satin dress during the night.

I can't sleep but I must sleep lol. The weather in my city is very hot now. That's terrible.

Yes I agree. I can not sleep in the heat. I keep my bedroom colder than the rest of the house. I freeze everybody else out!

I can't sleep in hot weather either. I've had the AC on in my house,but it still felt hot so I went out to sleep in the living room where it is cooler. I tried to sleep with my leg out of the bed, but I think I had a mosquito or some kind of bug in my room bite me.

I also cannot sleep when it's hot. We don't have air conditioning, so I try to run a fan, take a cold shower and open windows if it is cooler outside. Sometimes I'll hide out in the basement where it's still cooler (at least at the beginning of the hot season).

i can sleep wherever and whenever! hehehe! even if its super hot or super cold! haha! one time, the power was off due to some reason. it was so hot that night, but i was so sleepy i close my eyes, and when i woke up, it was already morning and the electricity was back again!

if i am really tired i dont think about the weather i just need a bed and even if the temprature is 60 degree celcius ,i dont care!

Who can sleep with hot weather/temperature?The weather here in our place is somewhere between 40 and 50 degrees.And at times we are experiencing humidity.So what we usually do is open the ac then take a shower.By then the room is cold enough to have a good night sleep.

I also have a difficult time sleeping in really hot weather. As long as I am not too overheated, then I don't have trouble, but otherwise it really bothers me. The house that I'm living in right now doesn't have central air conditioning, so we just have a big window air conditioner that gets turned off during the night. It's usually feeling ok right at first when I actually to go sleep, but then I will wake up in the middle of the night sweating. I always have to make sure that I have a fan pointed right at me. That usually helps me to sleep a little bit better in the heat, but it is still frustrating sometimes.

Me neither. I am hot natured and I know that I will be very uncomfortable sleeping like this. No not for me. The heat will keep me up and uncomfortable!

Hot weather is tough. To cold at least you can put on blankets and clothes, when it is hot, I need an air conditioner, and now a days, many places don't think central air and heat is needed. They should live here. A sheet, light clothes, and fan or AC that is it for me. The fast to sleep I can be.

It's really difficult to sleep in a hot temperature. I often feel uncomfortable sleeping.

i'm from the philippines and the weather here is hot, but i can sleep because there is aircondition or electric fan.

I know one thing I could never sleep well when it is too hot. I have tried in the past and I find it next to impossible. I always need to be cool whether with a fan or air conditioner. It is much more comfortable to be cool. I am not very crazy about the summer in the first place.
