Why do we dream? Why do we dream such crazy, scary, wild dreams sometimes?
According the psychiatrist ,that dreams are the way our body clears out the mind. The really strange dreams come when the mind slips an experience into the wrong box.
I dream about everything. I dream about people I like, and I dream about people I haven't seen in years,I dream about people in the TV,I dream about people I don't even know.I have been out of college for years, but I always dream this similar dream about taking exams. In those horrible exam dreams,I always fail the exams.

Did you tried the dream control technique? You must realize yourself that you are only dreaming, but don't wake up your consciousness. This is really a cool thing. When you will know how to control your dream you should end this repeating exam dream in such way that it stops. Maybe stand up, rip the exam paper (yours or maybe everyones in the class) and throw it through window. Then leave the class loughing.

That's cool! But I 'm not sure I would have the courage to do that in in front of the whole class!I might as well do it in my dormitory.
I guess I dreamt those weird dreams only because I was stressed .Yes ,you are right,it's not big a deal.Just leave it be,don't wake up the consiousness.

Thanks for the BR price.
I think that you can have courage to do it. It's just a dream afterall, right? Everything is possible in dreams.

I have alot of weird dreams too. I mainly dream that someone is out to get me or kill me. I also dream about relatives that have passed away also. they seem to always be in my dreams. I guess it is because I think of them alot. I also watch alot of Cop shows and shows that criminals are wanted in.

I understand that! I do not want to go back to school either, although I did attend medical assistant school in 1980, and graduated the top of my class! Smaller schools that give no credit can be easier to attend, as they have many techniques to help people learn! One of my favorite lessons was the one in which we learned medical terminology! The teacher showed us videos, and the one I remember the most was a video picture of a young woman in a hospital bed, with a child standing next to her, and two infants in her arms! The child was saying,"Oh Ma! Two more?" He was horrified of the thought that his mother had given birth to twins! The definition was translated as oma=tumor! So if someone has something ending in oma, e.g. lymphoma, it means there is a tumor of the lymph glands!

Dreams are normal and they happen because our mind is working even harder when we are asleep.. When we are sleeping, our mind will start to clear out all those useless information that we have absorb for the day.. And with the chemical reaction in our mind, we are actually dreaming everyday without us realising ^_^ And about your exams, it's due to your phobia and stress from your parents.. It can also be due to work as they are related ^_^

Have you had failed exams many times? and until now you did not get over it yet? I have heard that some of our dreams are a product of our own self view and previous failure. There are things that we cannot get over easily or we have a traumatic experience about it and that constantly came over during our unconcious state.

Hi gxnfly-dreams are symbols of our subconcious and are trying to tell us something as we talk throughout the day and understand each other at night our bodys need the rest but our brain is still working and tries to tell or explain things in dreams its just working out what the dream means..eg failing your exams could mean that you have low esteem of youself and feel you can't or won't be able to do anything right therefore you seem to fail at the things you try to do or that you are going through a testing time and don't seem to be coping very well with what life is throwing at you-also if you dream in colours then the colours also mean something.
No I don't and never have read books on interpretation of dreams but can interpret thhem for other people and often have my family and friends asking me to interpret their dreams for them-your friend littleowl

weird dreams are about those things which are in store in your unconscious mind. they are left there unnoticed and they will only come out when something triggers them to. but i don't think they mean something else. i love to dream as i have some stories to share in the morning. but it was a long time since i dreamed, that i could no longer remember what it was all about.
