I'm a married woman for more than five years now and God has sent us our female bundle of joy last 2005. She's turning three this year.
However, because of lack of funds, we have no choice but to leave her with my in-laws. We are only renting a house here in the city and our monetary obligations are drowning us already. It's been almost two weeks now since my husband went to the province with her.
But everytime she's with us, I'd like to take time with her. I'm the only one working in my own family. My husband has no stable job and somehow, I feel that the heavy burden is on my shoulders alone. Sometimes, I'd catch myself waking up in the wee hours of the morning and thinking about all our problems, particularly our financial status, and I would make a silent cry.
Anyway, as I was about to say, I'd love watching her sleep while stroking her hair and back. Honestly, I really do miss her.

I am sorry your going thru this. It has to be very stressful on you. I couldnt imagine being away from my babygirl. I am a mother of 4 and my oldest is 25 and then I have a boy 23 and other boy 16 and then my babygirl whos 7. I go crazy when my younger son just goes to Michigan for 2-3 weeks(we live in Iowa). It drives me insane. When my Tatyana stays with my oldest son whos 23 and his g/f I am lost. She only stays every once and while but I go nuts. I will keep you in my prayers and hope things get better for you.

This is true for me also. My daughter has had so many problems this first year, that I frequently watch her sleeping just to assure myself that she is truely still with me and even thriving. At long last!

My girls are 8 and 7 years and a baby of six months old. Before I retire to bed, I always drop by at my girls' sleeping rooms and watch them while they're sleeping. It is so nice to listen to their breath and to look at that innocent faces...:) .. eventhough they sometimes makes me crazy...lol..
They are the reason why I wake up every morning. I love my kids!

Every night before I lay down, I take a look at both my children as they sleep. I take in the times they were younger reflecting. Comparing it to now and what is to come.
I love my kids. Even when they are running rampant. lol.

I have a 1 year 9 months old son and he's very hyper. He doesnt even get tired. So when he's asleep, its very peaceful and quiet and i have time to rest. Also, i love looking at his face when he's sleeping. he looks like an angel. i keep on staring at him, hugging and kissing him!

I know what that is like too, they all go through that stage. The time frames may vary, but they all go through it.

Hi Tannie
They look so sweet and cute when they are asleep. That is one of the delights of being a parent. I always had the best feeling ever when one of the girls would fall to sleep in my arms. There is nothing better then that. Now they are just getting to big for that. They are angels when they are asleep.

I totally know what you mean. How old are your kids? I have a 2 year old daughter. She's insane! She has more energy than any human should have.

I used to wath my son sleeping when he was a baby. As he grew older he slept less, a lot more less than a normal child, about six hours a day. Now he watch me sleep as I sleep more than him and he is only twelve years old.
