How long do you use computer a day?

about 7 hours a day

2-4 hour surfing the net,making discussions and responses here in mylot,cheking my mailbox and sometimes chat with my friends.

We are running a homebase computer business and most of our transactions are online so our computer is alternately open and working 24/7 (24hours, 7 days a week)

Before the last few months I was on the computer about 4 hours in the morning before my kids got up ans maybe 2-3 hours at night if nothing good on the TV, plus I would get on and off all through the day. Since my mom's been sick I don't get on as much. For about 2 weeks I was starting to be able to be on more, then my world got overly busy agian. I really do miss my computer time. I really miss my blogs, homeschool board, some emails and now that I have found MyLot (which I really enjoy). Hopefully soon my world will go back to it's normal and I can get my fix from the Net!

I barely turn off my computer. Even whem i'm a asleep, it's still on. I probably spend an average about 12 hours a day. Not because i'm a computer addict(or am i...) but i work using it. I'm a game developer. And what would be more fun than making games?! Actually its a lie. Being a game developer is one of the worst jobs you can have...lol

i use computer in the place i work. So basically i use it for around 9 hours. And not just for work, but also surf the web, chat, etc. I usually use computer in my place too, to play games. And when i play games, i find it hard to stop lol.

I am working as a network administrator and a networking faculty so daily from morning 8 to evening 6 i will be totally engaged with computer.

i use it for probably 10 hours a day or more.. it depends but i don't sit at it for 10 hours straight. I'm off and on through out the day. I use it to check my emails, talk to friends, make money, buy stuff, look stuff up, pass time, share my photography, find freebies, and use mylot! lol your usual internet usages.

i use my computer to do my work everyday at my office and i spend about 6-7 hour.

Ya.. I agree with you... After switching the Computer when i start to PLAY GAMES or SURF the NET ...it is not easy to get up from in front of the computer ... Well .. Is it a kind of ADDICTION??

I am retired and work online daily so maybe my stats are not condusive to what you are looking for. I work atleast 5 hours a day and afew days during the week I work 10-12. Depends on what I am doing and how into it I am.

I am a fully computer addicted afreak... i dont know when i am on internet i am lost. i loos etack of time, food and even sleep.. i ahvae just recently tried my hand at onlin earning. so i am getting more addicted to it..

Whoa, after reading all your posts, I consider my self a computer addict, because I spend more than 12 hours daily in front of my PC. But I don't have any regrets, I actually like this lifesyle. I surf the Net, play games, and earn money online. And I don't have any problems with eyes or any other negative effects.

24 hours aday.....plus when i got bored....i have games in here which i downloaded from some sites.....and there are alot of emulators .....when i'm serious....i use it do some of my projects....serializing a novel which i had made before....when at night ....and the perverted urge starting to creep in.....i use it to grab some hot pics and video clips......and i'm planning to do some compilation....so i don't need to get marry bcoz it really a gigantic migraine....i can get all the fun in here...in virtual world....shhhhh...its a secret between us.

Scorpiachoo, it just depends on how busy I am with work. Most of the time my computer is on 24/7 rare is it that it gets shut down, unless there is a storm in the area.

I also use the computer for several hours on most days. I am probably on the computer for anywhere from about two to five hours per day. It is so easy to lose track of time, especially on the internet! Most of the time when I'm on the computer, I spend my time surfing the internet and checking email, and of course also on mylot.

I'm a programmer so I'm in front of the computer for 8 hours, more so if I do overtime work. So when I get home, I don't open my personal computer anymore. On weekends, I spend about three to four hours for surfing, email reading and other online activities. So to put on the stats, workwise, I spend about 40 hours a week. For personal purposes, about 10-12 hours a week.
