Hi sis! Uhm... I made a booboo again today. I kinda got away with a "wrong" diet for today. It's already around 6:30 in the afternoon. Hmmm. I ate oatmeal! Well, I guess that's it for today. waaaaa! I usually have 4 meals. Breakfast, Dinner, 2 snacks.
I really feel full and can't eat somehow. I'll just have to sleep it out later so tomorrow I can eat normally again. I miss my mom's cooking. take care!

As today is the sports day in the School of my daughter we have to go early. So we won't be having much time for cooking.Today's menu is very simple with some vegetable gravy, eggs and salads. And as the next two days are holidays we have decided to have a feast on Sunday.

I typically just make whatever sounds good at the time, assuming I have what I want. I am not much of a cook, so most of my meals are either microwave or frozen and put in the oven. So many times I have attempted to make menu's but it never seems to work out. Since I don't really cook and I am pretty picky it's hard for me to plan meals, because sometimes what I like depends on my mood and everything. Although eventually I'd like to try out actually planning and see how that works out.

It depends. Sometimes I have in mind what I think I want to make other times I just wing it. I try to get rid of leftovers if possible, but if I dont feel like eating them I just make something else.

Some months we make a menu for the whole month but here lately I have been lazy so we haven't made a menu.

I usually do not plan that far ahead. If there is something that I really want, then I'll think a few days in advance if I need to so I know that I have what I need. However I usually just cook whatever comes into my mind whenever I think about it. I don't plan meals or anything but I'm sure it would come in handy if I did.

I usually have a menu but it's not set in stone. I usually like to try to plan about three days in advance. That way I have meat out of the freezer in the fridge thawing. I hate trying to cook something when the meat is frozen! I've got dinner planned for the next two nights right now.

It's only a few minutes 'til lunch, so I suggest you just cook what's available for now.
As for me, I am trying to balance out the food intake, so I follow a guideline on what to cook for dinner -- when everyone is in the house. Sundays is a free for all day, it's either we go out (fast food) or cook barbecue. Mondays are purely vegetable days while Tuesdays are fish days. Come Wednesday, I cook mainly meat with a few veggies and on Thursdays, I cook purely meat dish. On Friday it's either I cook veggies with fried fish on the side, or I cook mainly vegetable dish with a few meat and on Saturday we go seafoods. No specific dishes to cook, just a guideline.
I found that helpful in breaking the "cook's block" because as the person who cooks dinner for all, sometimes I get problems on what to cook. With this guideline, I am sure that I am not cooking the same food within the week.

My wife made me some low carb vegetable beef soup last night. She makes it when we need to drop a couple of pounds. Even though it is a nice diet food it is still really delicious.
