I"m glad you can wear the soft brace at least at night, I'm sure it was impossible to sleep with the other one! But the good news is that everything is going well and even though it takes time, in the end the results will be good ones:)

That's great that your neck is healing properly. Bet you can sleep a lil better at night with the soft neck brace.

Aww, good morning my little sugarplum.....I'm so sorry I haven't been around much. Here you are in all this pain, and I'm all concerned about my problems. I'm sorry, I'm glad to hear this is all over for you but I can well imagine how you just can't wait to get that brace off. Although I have never had to wear a cast or brace of any kind, I probably would be going bonkers. Very glad everything is good and please get well soon. Still don't rush into anything my friend! Still take it easy, I hope your hubby understands this, really I was worried for you last time if you had given in and done the hovering you could have set yourself back months or worse with your recuperating. Those 4 weeks will fly past, don't you worry, just concentrate on recovery and taking it easy, ok! Wolfie is talking LOL! We want you 110% better and the sooner the better. Hugs xxx

Terry hun thats great news... i know its aggravating for you. In the long run it will be worth all of this. How is your heart? I might have missed a few posts last week if you said, I was swamped with work and could not get here very much.

Are your neck muscles getting weaker having to be in the neck brace? I guess it is something you have to put up with, but I admire you for being so game about being confined to one of the neck braces for so long. I guess it will all be worth it if you feel better after all is said and done. Hope the soft brace makes it easier for you!

It's going to be hard because of the heat but you have to do it to heal completely. Just keep reminding yourself that the worst is already over. Feel better!

hello my friend, I havent been on for a bit, life has kind of taken over, but sounds like it has really taken over for you. I hope all is well and a soft brace is much more comfy for sleeping but still offers the support you need. my good thoughts are with you :)

Have been thinking about you and wondering how you are getting along. Glad to hear you are healing. Seems like it takes forever to slowly feel better after surgery especially in your case because of the neck brace. Don't know how you can sleep with any brace on your neck. Will you have to endure several trips to physical therapy so everything will be back in proper working order? Take care, carolbee

Just be very careful take it slowly as you cant take risks that would be to dodgy. Take care.

It cant be helped. Peharps sometimes your neck recovers faster than usual and can remove it earlier. What matters more is that you do keep to the doctor's advice and avoid injuring it even more.
