I'm currently living on the 9th Storey. That's a comfortable level for me. In the event of the lift breaking down, I also do not have a problem climbing up. I would prefer to live in the 20th storey. In that case, I can have a bird's eyes view of my neighborhood.

3rd floor.safety really had nothing to do with it,i've just never really lived in high buildings.
the one advantage to a higher floor is i rarely get people looking in my windows, which happened often on the first floor if i didn't have the curtains drawn.

yea,my stuff.some places i lived they'd go "window shopping" before breaking in and stealing you blind.
flowers weren't allowed.you weren't allowed to add anything to your apartment building outside.

7th floor. not really lived but just slept in for a seminar for 5 nights, and it was the highest floor i have stayed in. i feel not so safe thinking that i am sleeping there at a very high place. it might collapse anytime. what if earthquake will happen? those are the things that really bothers me that time.

I lived in NY for most of my childhood and lived on the 6th floor. I thought it was cool to ride the elevator. Now that I am much older and the world has changed so much, I would fear going into an elevator alone or with a strager. Boy is it great to be a kid.

The highest floor I lived is 7th floor, but I working for a company who is in the 30th floor. I don't think there is unsafe to live in high floor, except catch fire or earthquake or other disaster. I think live in high floor is safe and you can see the people and cars on the road, they are very little. Or if you live beside a sea or a mountain then the nice scence is for you.

The highest floor I lived on was the second floor and that was only once. We were living in a apartment while we were looking for a house or trailer park to move into. So that is the highes floor I have ever lived on.

i also lived on the 5th floor of our building for the past 3 years. just recently, my husband and i (with our 2 kids) moved to a new place.
we really liked our 5th floor abode because of the nice view and since it was a corner unit, it was windy too, what with windows on all sides. we had bars installed on all the windows though so that the kids cannot accidentally fall even if they play near them. it was still scary though whenever my 2-year old will sit or stand beside the windows.
i miss our 5th floor home but it has become small for the 4 of us. growing families need more space and we just had to give it up.
