I am an eBay seller, but I'm finding it tough at the moment. Is there a product that sells better on eBay?

I have been a seller on eBay for over 4 years. I go to yard sales, estate sales, auctions, etc. and pick up interesting items for very cheap ($1 to $5 mostly) and sell them on eBay. What to sell is tricky and I guess I shouldn't tell the secrets. All year I buy quality toys and pieces of toys such as Legos. I make my own sets and sell at Christmas. Name brands (real) such as Abercrombie, Coach, etc. usually do well. Look for very old or strange/unique items. Always start at $1 at yard sales. Try to put sets together, such as, I put together very old board games found over a few weeks and listed them together. I found a pair of WWII glasses for $1. It is a strange business and can be up and down. Try to stick with it. Let me know if you have any questions.

It is illegal on eBay to sell fakes also. They pull the listing and give you a VERO which is a violation of trademarks. It counts against you. Try to stick with real brands. I used to live in Switzerland and they had lots of Salvation Army thrift stores and charity shops. I know that England has them and lots of great car boot sales. Hit them early and get things that are found mostly in your country because Americans and Asians like that stuff. Find things from the war of any kind and remember that Europeans think that antiques have to be more than 100 years old and the rest of the world doesn't. Americans like old war stuff, buttons, and watch for anything made from bakelite which Europeans don't care about. Watch for old British games, toy soldiers, silver of course, and anything "British" like Toby Jugs, Quaker Oats items, etc. Hope that helps.
