Horde vs. Alliance - Who's The Best?!

I just joined MyLot and realized that there are gamers here! Where are my fellow WoW diehard gamers? WoW players love to argue and discuss and debate, but yet there aren't many debates going on, so let's start one! Keep it clean ladies and gentlemen...I know it will be hard but we can always settle that argument on the battle ground. So ...without further ado... Of course the only answer is HORDE! Why? Because I said so! LOL... Seriously, have you ever noticed that Ally never do anything alone? If they are going to gank, it is always with 3 or more to do the ganking, even of one little lonely Horde. Get with it Ally, it takes more skill to gank one on one than it will ever take when you run around with your never ending supply of priests and paladins! So...where are you gamers?!

I cannot wait for the expansion! It will be another one of those midnight trips to pick it up, I'm sure. Make sure he takes you out to dinner first, because you won't see anything but the back of his head for a week or two after he installs it! Thanks for the welcome :)

You cannot imagine how far my heart sunk when I read the title of this thread, haha. My father plays World of Warcraft and I have to listen to him telling me about all of his quests. Being as he was quite late to jump on the bandwagon, he's only just purchased the new expansion pack - the name of which I forget. However, this entire discussion made me thankful that my Dad doesn't use MyLot. He has just informed me that he is Alliance. He does have to do a lot on his own but has progressed throughout the game really quickly. He prides himself in telling me that his new ram now travels at 100% the speed of walking. I hope to God he doesn't intend on retiring any time soon. The worst part is, he even makes WoW related jokes. I'm pretty sure they aren't in seriousness, but he did make a comment the other day about mithril, when watching the weather forecast! Other than that, I didn't really understand the rest of your post, due to not being a fellow World of Warcraft player, haha... I'm just glad to have my sanity.

LOL you are doomed. Your Dad is addicted! It's okay though, there are many more things he could be addicted too. Tell him if he ever decides to switch to Horde, to come on over to Bonechewer and look for Synfully! On the serious side, when he starts using abbreviations such as IRL (in real life) and GG (good game) instead of actually saying the words, it's time to shut down the internet connection for a week!

Oh, I knew he was addicted a long, long time ago. Like myself, he is very computer-orientated and spends a lot of time using it. Recently, he was laid off work because he had torn the cartilage in his shoulder which meant he couldn't perform a lot of the manual work that his job requires of him. He spent so much time on WoW. I will definitely mention your post to him, but I tell you now, if he ever does come and find you, you won't get rid of him, lol. Some of his Polish work colleagues play as well - I can only imagine their conversations at work. It's hilarious, he will tell my mother about what he's achieved that day - whether it's a new level or if he has ventured to a new area. (He's now in the Outlands apparently, I don't know what that means though.) She doesn't understand in the slightest and I laugh at him because his character is a rogue, whereas my father himself is six foot six in height. It's a funny representation. He has never yet slipped out a "brb" or "lol" like I ... accidentally, might have done once or twice, but he has mentioned "looking to sell" or "want to buy" and something about "mat" meaning "material"? I stick to The Sims 2, haha... for simple-minded people like myself.

Horde is best for PVP Alliance is best for PVE I've experienced more for PVP on the Horde side (former PVP rank grinder here) and some on the Alliance. A couple of old friends were horde and they got me in that way. Plus it was a work hard and not so nice time in my life so the PVP was VERY welcome. College friends were alliance though and I got to play more PVE with them. And now that I work (long days) instead of go to college, I have less time for warcraft overall. I even switched my horde to my little bro's server and his friends, PVE but still some great people (old buddies on PVP server quit... it just wasn't the same). Alliance... ugh. It seemed like the folks there became bigger losers which really put me in a bind PVE wise. Now I just relax and play whatever side I want. In terms of conduct Horde are usually alone but at least they'll come to defense more often than Alliance. Alliance are rarely seen alone and I've only seen few exceptions to the numbers game. On my mage I was semi notorious for taking the Lumber Mill from the horde in the opening... but of course my alliance teammates couldn't capture the Blacksmith if it was empty. -_-. Horde side, things were varied but much more fun. People healed, supported and if we lost, we lost. Alliance side, there is so much crying at times its dumb. Oh yes... didn't Alliance go on battlegrounds strike because of some change to Alterac Valley, I remember seeing that fairly recently on both sides of the equation. Who goes on BG strike anyways?

I started out playing on the Alliance side but then switched to the Horde side. I like being on te Horde side better. Nothing beats the blood elfs and the drop rate on the Horde side is soooo much better. You get blue items at a really low level, never happened to me on the Alliance side.
