My husband asked me the other day, if I would be his wife. I told him yes. We are already married. What do you make of this. He is not planning on marrying me again as far as a renewal marriage. But he just asked me this. He had so much love in his eyes when he asked me this. I felt like we were just beginning to tie the knot. Why would he say this to me, if we are already married. All opinions, please..

Hi my friend your hard work has paid off.
I remember reading your post about how you felt like being divorce again because he does not pay attention to you and the inlaws problem.
Well your patient and your love for him has stood up to the test.
he realized how much you put into the family and marriage and he wants to tell you that if he had to do it all over again, he still choose to marry you.
That is love, true love.
he is quite romantic.

wow, that is quite sweet.
The little things in life that we take for granted.
My husband rubs my feet but I never realized that he does not have to put up with me. He could simply ask to be divorced but he hung on.
so you see, even though the in lwas are a pain, but he is making the effort to show you how important you are in his life. He does make the effort to show love when his family are not around.
Give him time, he will surface and your voice will be heard.
Well this weekend is father's day, if you have kids. Show him how well a father and husband he is. Don't stay home, take him out and suprise him. That way the IN laws won't have a chance to destory this weekend for you. and him.
good luck,

I could be completely off the base here... If I'm not mistaken, what he means is that "now we've been married for ** years, knowing all my flaws & mistakes, knowing me as you do now, if you knew then what you know now, would you still marry me?"... Apparently, seeing what you saw in his eyes when he asked you that, his answer is yes... I think it was his way of confirming you love for him as he falls more & more in love with you everyday...

He is soooo sweet. That was a way of him letting you know you are still the one he wants to spend his life with. Such a sweet thing to do. Just enjoy it.

I think its because you are not confortable when your in law are here. he want you to understan him and love him and forgive him for his mistake. Your husband needs you and he might have imagined you going away from him. thats why.
Just go and tell him that you will be with him forever. enjoy :)

Honestly we have the same situation,I left him because Im now working here in italy,he keeps on telling me that were going to marry again by the time ill come home.I dont know whats beyond on this. For me,I think thats the only way he expresses his love other than saying I love you.

this shows that your husband loves you very much that he treating you as still his girlfriend. as we all experience much caring are showed during the start of every relationships, although some don't have but mostly love on this moment are different than after marriage. this maybe the reason why your husband felt that way.

I won't try to make any conspiracy theories here, hehe. I think he just really loves you and he want to show you this love in this way. I think that it's a beatiful way to do it. Good luck!
