Mario Vs. Sonic

Mario and Sonic are both awesome characters and they are both very equally matched,but I agree Super Sonic would not stand much of a chance,because one hit and he goes back to plain sonic,so I think if they got into a fight,it would end up in a tie.

Try play mario and sonic at the olympic games, DS. you'll play as character in either mario or sonic, then play olympic game

I prefer Sonic, but when all is said and done I think Mario, for some reason as a plumber, ends up being able to access more moves and tools to perhaps overcome the speed of Sonic, which seems to be his main thing, aside from a spin move.

As long as Sonic keeps a ring, only a spike pit, bottomless pit or being crushed will kill him. Sonic has three different shields to use (Fire for a charge attack, Bubble for breathing, Thunder to magnetize rings and small metal items) Mario can only take so many hits before being killed (Mario 64: 8 pieslice lifebars, Smash Bros: about 100 HP/%) He also has various powerups at disposal Super Mushroom, growth and super strength Fire Flower, fireball abilities Tanooki, tail attack, quick stone transformation Cape, flight, projectile reflective Metal Body, hardbody, superweight In terms of gaming and combat, Mario has more experience and more variety of experience (Platform, basic combat, tournament fighting, RPG combat) Sonic has (Platform, and only recently tournament fighting, Soon RPG combat...maybe). Mario might just beat Sonic

Mario would eat one of those mushrooms from The New Super Mario Bros. and become Giant Mario, then squash Sonic.

id say mario cause all sonic is is just fast but mario is pretty fast and strong IDK who would win but i say Mario
