Hows your speed?

Its to annoying everytime I log in to mylot my connection seems to slow but I am using DSL to connect to the internet. I think mylot have something to do with my slow access with their site. Maybe because of so many members using the site, the server gets congested and become slow. What is your experience so far with mylot access?

Oh.. It sucked me yesterday.. i could hardly post a response here... the server was too slow.. perhaps so tired..

Hi saivenkaat, hows your day? I know its fine because your broadband is fine 
. Anyway mine is loading fine and fast when I log in at 7:00AM.
But from 10:00AM up to 3:00PM it like hell. I just do other work to compensate my time. If this is not happening to my connection then I can write more and do more discussions here in mylot. Thanks for the response friend.

I have cable modem and that is fast so I know it can't be that. I'm guessing with so many people useing this website it will have tendancy to run slow at times.
That is not no big deal to me what is really getting me is all of the sudden I am haveing to constantly resign back into mylot when in the middle of a discussion at times it boots me out. I now know what you all ment by this when it did it to you. It's frustrateing to have to keep resigning in alot. I have told MyLot Admin of this and hopefully they look into it for all of us. Besides that all runs fast.

Hi Remembering1996 that was good if you have a good speed using cable modem then your connection may get slow for a moment but still its not boring to post. In my part I need to wait more than 2 minutes or worst its not loading at all. So When that time comes I started to logout and do another job. About the automatic signout of the system. It happened to me twice
but never again when I check the remember me box under my username and password before I login to mylot.

Hello dear oliverdt. Mylot speed in my place works very fast in the morning and it begins to slow down a little bit in the afternoon and evening, but it is still ok speed. Sometimes it is annoying when it works very slowly. So the best time for me to mylot is in the morning hours as I am mylotting now, 6:19a.m. if I can get up early.

i haven't encountered such a problem with the site....even with my 128K bps Internet connection...
maybe the server that is overloaded by all the users using the same time...

Hi nokia, have a nice day to you my friend, I also think the same way, because sometimes the connection is fast. But I wonder why other mylot user is not experiencing this kind of problem. So in my own opinion that the connection here in the philippines is not good as the connection of other country. I believe I have a poor connection even though I used DSL connection.

i used broadband internet connection, so far don't have problem about slow loading myLot page. everytime i open my account i can post as many as i can with no interruptions at all. myLot will encounter problem if they have latest updates introduce to it's members or updates of their website.

Hi julyteen, that was great, maybe you are located to an area that has a good connection to internet. Mylot is fun and its not boring at all. But when my slow connection time is knocking at the door my windows XP then thats the time I get bored. Yes and the slow connection is doubled when the site has an updates and other stuff to do. I don't experience such problems. Maybe you should free up some space in your hard drive. Mylot has a lot of datas in it maybe that is why it takes longer to load than other websites.
I have read on some blogs that it is easier to view mylot through the firefox browser. I haven't tried it yet because I am still contented with my internet explorer. And I heard that firefox takes up a lot of CPU usage.

Yeah I think why your not experiencing this kind of problem, maybe because your country support first class internet connection. Not like in our country, what we so called third country. I'm sad that I need to wit for couple of minute to view pages here in mylot. My PC is fast and maybe its just the connection that slow me down.

I am using the wireless internet connection at a cafe just up the street from where I live. It's nice and quick, and it's cheaper than having the internet at home.

Wow thats great I also use wireless connection but my problem is even the connection is fast in other website, its seems that mylot wesbsite is slow to load. Sometimes I have no problem with the website of mylot when it loads faster. I just don't understand why its happening.

Thats a good idea if you want to make your system faster but we are talking about internet speed here not computer speed. I just want to know why sometimes mylot website load fast and most of the time it loads too slow. I need to wait 30 to 40 seconds before the page show up.
