I rarely drop my phone.
Put it somewhere safe, away from the edge and you should be fine.

Without fail, i will always drop my phone in a most unlikely scenario.. lol =D Even when i'm sleeping, with my phone just beside me, i can push it both the bed and i will wake up immediately to find my phone.. lol ^_^ If not, will be dropping my phone while i'm walking on the streets, holding my phone in the hands, and just somehow or rather, my phone drops onto the ground.. lol

For me, i'd do whatever it cost to put my phone at a safer place.
All you can do is to just be more 'intouch' with you cellphone so that you can be aware of whats doing or will happen to it.

i'm also a clumsy and somewhat careless when it comes on my phone. i can't even count how many times i've dropped my cellphone. in fact, i just dropped it everywhere, in the toilet, stairs, road, floor, etc. but even though i'm kinda careless and clumsy, my phone was still in good shape and i hope that it won't be broken haha

I have same problem BUT I have good reflex and it never touched the ground, hehe. I know my cellphone's model and I know that it would probably stop working if it would drop on the ground. It's more sensitive than a woman. I hate it, hehe.

that is exactly what i'm facing too. i can drop them even while talking on the phone! but i just pick up the phone and continue talking. :p i guess we are just clumsy people. good to know that i'm not the only one with this problem. hopefully mobile phones will not become more and more fragile. i used to have phones that work perfectly after being dropped a hundred times. but the newer phones will start giving me problems after a few drops. :(

this is my problem before but now i change a cheaper unit so that if i accidentally dropped it still functions. i bought 3 cellphones that are not sensitive. i used 2 unit N1100 for my Globe and Tm, N1112 for my Smart. i am clumsy to but now i am not afraid to destroy my cellphone because it's affordable.

Hehe. I guess what you really need i a shock proof phone. I could recommend you the Nokia 5210. It a lot cheaper nowadays and i have tried that phone before. Sometimes when i accidentally drop it, it just bounces on the floor since the casing of the phone is rubberized. I think its better compared to other phones even if its just a lot cheaper.

haha. i think that most people have that problem. my cell phone has a whole bunch of scratches from being dropped so many times. if you keep you cell phone in a case it wouldnt get scratched so much or have problems from being dropped but i dont like cases so i dont have one for my cell phone
