Most of the people used kept the same in the shelf, and some body used to kept on the top of the Televisions and in the comptuer Tables or on the Top of Fridge.. The analysits use to avoid to kept those places, this will also affect both the mobile and also the products..
Since i used to kept the Alarm on my mobile, i used to kept near by my bed..

I used to keep it near my like you, but recently I don't do it anymore, because my alarm in my new mobile doesnt evoke me to wake up so it is useless to me now as an alarm. I'm a fall in sleep deeply so I need louder alarm to wake up, I just tell my mom to wake me up and that's all.

I used to keep my phone under the pillow. But I stopped doing it, because the next morning, I usually find it on the floor. A good thing it didn't break. But now, I usually use my phone to set the alarm. We have a table beside the bed, and that's where I usually put it.
I do make sure though that I place the phone more than an arm's reach. That way, I have to stand up and turn off the alarm. Standing up helps me wake up more easily.

When I go to bed, I always keep my cell phone on the window sill beside my head. I use the alarm on it to wake me up in the morning and the charger is plugged in there, so it's convenient.

Only if I am expecting a call will I keep it near me but that usually never happens so I guess my answer would be no.

I keep my phone on my bed side table, because I also use the alarm and I also use it to check the time if I wake up during the night as I do no have a clock in my room. Sometimes I leave it on the other side of the room on the floor as that is where the plug sockets are and it means I can charge my phone during the night.

I kept it near me all the time.
But i don't think it'll make real harm to us because the radiation emitted is very low and will just increase if theres a call.

I do the same exact thing, keeping it next to my pillow since I use the alarm to wake up each morning. I guess I should invest in an alarm clock again (since it's been years) so I don't have to worry about the effects of the cell phone so close by.

I too keep my phone very near to myself while sleeping. Its hardly one feet away from my body on the shelf of the bed.I too heard that it emitts radiations that are bad for the brain and body tissues. But since i too use it as an alarm clock so i want to keep it nearby.
But during the day where ever possible i try to keep it away from my body. Its radiations does the cooking effect on our body tissues. But we all know about its bad effects on our body but it has become so indispansable that we cant do without it.But even then we should have extra cautious in using it

I have a home phone and I use my mobile only for emergencies and when I am away some place like in a park or where there are no payphones available. I keep my phone in my purse, and if we got rid of our home phone (never happen unless they give free long distance calls on cell phones for the same price) I would keep my purse in my bedroom and put the charger near so I can get it easier. Right now the charger is in the living room.

I like mobile phones because of convenience and seamless connectivity they provide. But I'm not obsessed about it. I keep my mobile phone near me or in my pocket as long as it is required and keep away from me as soon as I'm home from my office and keep its ring tone at higher volume so that it can be heard from any place inside the house. But during night time I've to keep it near my bed during weekdays as I use its alarm function. However, during weekends I don't use alarm and I keep the phone in different room, which is other than my bedroom so that it may not disturb my sleep.

I always have my cell phone by me, no matter where I am. Right now it is on the desk by my keyboard. Only a few people have my cell number so if I get a call it is usually something important. I only give my number to my family and some of my good friends. I also take my cell phone into my bedroom at night and put it on my night stand because I don't have a clock in my room, yet, just moved not settled, so when I wake up in the night I can see what time it is. Also, if I got a call at night time it would be an emergency so I would like to answer it right away.

Although I keep my cell phone in my room, it is usually not on my pillow or anything like that. I use the alarm on it, but that is about it. I don't have a television so I don't do that one. Most of the time it is either on the window sill or on the floor next to my bed (I have no other furniture yet). I don't worry too much about the rays or whatever.

I usually keep it near by at all times. Sometimes with in arms reach. Mostly within ear reach. Never on direct body contact unless its cliped to my clothes.
